It's All a Misunderstanding

[Chapter 75: Qiuqiu’s backstory has been revised]

A checkup reveals that Liu Xu has terminal cancer, and she has only a few months left to live.

In her twenty-some years, her family has pampered her like a princess, giving her everything she wants. Her only regret is that she has never been in love.

Liu Xu immediately decides to pursue Zuo Yanqiu, the goddess she has had a crush on for years.

Not for any other reason, just to find out how bitter love can be.

After being rejected for the Nth time, Liu Xu regrets it deeply.

This love is like drinking poison.

At least she won’t be around much longer. Looked at another way, this is the last time she’ll have the courage to do something in her life.

There’s nothing left to regret.

Until the day she expects to die, Zuo Yanqiu’s attitude toward her remains the same as ever.

Liu Xu doesn’t get her wish, and gives up pursuing her goddess.

But then comes good news: the hospital tells her it was a doctor’s mistake. She doesn’t have cancer, and she can keep living.

When Zuo Yanqiu comes looking for her, Liu Xu replies sheepishly, “It was all a misunderstanding.”

A misdiagnosis, and a misunderstanding that you would fall for me.
