Reading Log (Handsome Seme Edition)

Both gong and shou leads, with more gong-led stories. There are recommendations, warnings, and all sorts of reasons I dropped a book. My number-one priority is a shippable couple, and I especially like couples who dote on each other.

Hey There, Fancy Some Cute Couples?

Some danmei couples I think are really sweet. No KK, soulmates as side characters, or made-up words.

Shadow Guards, Assassins, Retainers, Bodyguards, and Killer Protectors

Just what it says. The ratings are shown by yellow stars. If I especially like something, I’ll manually add ★ (1–3) in the description.

Ancient Danmei Recommendations

Includes transmigrate into a book, transmigrate, reborn, and more.

Great Reads, Mostly Male Leads, With Some Male Receivers and Switches

Whether the protagonist is the pursuer or the one being pursued is just a matter of perspective to me. I can't stand universally adored protagonists, regret-and-redemption arcs, love rivals competing for the same person, one-sided crushes, or weak protagonists who are bad in bed. Otherwise, I read all kinds of things and have all sorts of kinks (emphasis).

Court Intrigue, Wuxia, and Power Plays

Mostly historical fantasy settings, though I won't necessarily file them under historical fiction. The focus is on the imperial court and palace. There may be some jianghu or wuxia stories, but the court should make up more of the novel overall.

Interesting Books I've Read Lately

(Just my personal impression, based only on the story up to when I wrote the recommendation.)

Ancient Times

Everything from being reborn to transmigrating.

Books I've Read

I want to keep a record of the stories I’ve read that are pretty good and worth checking out.

Some for Personal Use

If I Get Into Historical BL, My Life Is Over

Control freaks and yumejoshi stay out. Violators will be executed immediately. I'll briefly note my deal-breakers, but this is fundamentally just a personal organizational list. I can't do anything about locked chapters at certain list levels, and I hate that book recommendations and completed-book ratings are linked.

Just a Beautiful Top

A personal list for keeping track of books I like. Most are beautiful bottom/straight top, with mutual pampering and a preference for either the top or the bottom. I can't stand the irresistible-to-everyone type, and only accept 1v1. The four-star ratings are really five stars.

Palace Intrigue 15

Farming

Books I've Been Meaning to Read but Haven't Started

Authors, please start writing these stories (I'm begging you). The System limits ratings to three stars, so every book gets the same rating. I'll remove each one as soon as it starts updating.
