The insect army was closing in. A ferocious elite insect held a needle-like stinger to the throat of a frail man, supposedly the major general's beloved. Ning Feng sat in the cockpit of his Bladewing mech and grinned at Yin Beichen on the command ship. Ning Feng: Hey, Xiaochenchen, if I save this guy, will you fall for me? Then the insect venom that had built up in his body finally took effect. He was swallowed by the swarm, leaving no body behind. That same day, the insect army was blasted into stardust by the flagship's photon cannons. Late that night, someone saw the empire's youngest major general, Yin Beichen, abandon his post and head alone to a space graveyard to dig up a grave with his bare hands. Meanwhile, in a chaotic border town, Ning Feng opened his mechanical eyes. Later, Ning Feng, reborn as a robot, became Yin Beichen's adjutant once again. One night, the major general got dead drunk, grabbed the robot's hand, and gritted his teeth. Yin Beichen: “You're him. How can you possibly not be him?!” The robot calmly sipped his special-issue machine oil while calculating how many more merit points he needed to get replacement parts.
