[Genshin Impact] Lord Heavenly Principles Wants to Retire Again Today

[Pre-Release: Every Abyss Monster Is One of My Secret Identities, Blurb at the Bottom]

[Blurb] [Mondstadt: Chapters 1-17; Liyue: Chapters 18-34; The Chasm: Chapters 35-43 (lots of Zhiqiong's story, feel free to skip if you're not interested); Inazuma: Chapters 44-61; Sumeru: Chapters 62-74; Resetting the World Tree Arc: Chapters 75-98; Fontaine: Chapter 99 onward]

I am the Heavenly Principles, master of Celestia, the one feared by The Seven, the enforcer who descended from the heavens, and a Descender from beyond this world.

But that was in the past.

Because I intend to retire.

My most steadfast shield tried to persuade me to stay.

"As it happens, I'm planning my own retirement, too. If you're leaving, remember to take your Gnosis with you."

My beloved retainers, a pair of brilliant and courageous sisters, worried about me.

"Only eternity comes closest to the Heavenly Principles... You asked about the Gnosis? I gave that thing to Yae Miko."

My team includes not only humans, but elves as well.

"Where's Barbatos? Where did he go?"

"My lord, Barbatos says his name is now Venti. If you need anything, contact him through his Gnosis."

I forgot what came before, and I forgot what came after.

In short, I am a good Heavenly Principles, beloved by the gods.

[Read Before You Start]

1. There are lots of original ideas. If you think a character is OOC, that's on me.

2. This story is extremely silly and absurd. Proceed with caution.

3. For details about the Tsaritsa's divine name, see the author's note in Chapter 14. If you still have questions, refer to item 1 of this warning.

4. As for Paimon, she first appears in Chapter 26. If you have questions, see above.

5. The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles is not the Heavenly Principles. The person who makes a dramatic entrance at the start is the Sustainer.

[Pre-Release: Every Abyss Monster Is One of My Secret Identities]

After transmigrating, former cosplayer Qingyuan Jiaye bound herself to an Abyss Monster Identity System, and her old craft got a whole new lease on life.

An explosion in the Bowei District enrages the Dragon King who governs the ley lines, the elemental overlord from ten thousand years ago, with two souls in one body.

By day, a girl in red-rimmed glasses shelters the children of the Bowei District from wind and rain.

By night, an unnamed Geo monster rampages through Yokohama, and the Mafia suffers heavy losses in the darkness.

"I once made a contract and swore to protect the people, so they could live in peace and prosperity..."

But the insatiably greedy Mafia aren't included.

Ignorant villagers take lives through their own stupidity. A trembling girl watches a general clad in purple mechanical armor, her enormous hand holding the power of lightning.

There is neither anger nor mercy in the eyes of the god.

Curse users or foolish monkeys, it makes no difference.

Those who do evil will ultimately fall beneath the blade of the eternal guardian.

The women of Yoshiwara's pleasure quarter force smiles, the men lose themselves in lust, and the little children cry out helplessly.

In a shadowy corner, a young boy holds his sister, whose body is covered in burns. A pristine white hand, as if carved by a god, reaches out to him.

He looks up at a boy dressed like a kabuki actor, who doesn't seem much older than he is.

"Carry her and come with me. You're capable of doing that much, aren't you?"

And so, the abandoned puppet reaches out to the siblings trapped in the mire.
