The Emperor's Son Plays the Qin [The Legend of Qin]

Blurb:

The day Fusu died, a torrential rain fell between heaven and earth.

"It turns out the laws of Qin will be followed for a hundred generations... Though my Qin has fallen, it still lives on."

He released the hand that had strangled the young emperor to death, then stood alone in the Qin palace, smiling up at the sky. His figure faded into the realm he had once ruled.

Changqin never imagined that showing Fusu the fate of future generations in an attempt to rekindle his will would leave him with nothing to cling to.

As he watched Fusu's soul dissipate before his eyes, his natal magical treasure, lost for many years, was restored in his grief.

The sound of Fenglai's zither rang out, fifty strings plucked beneath his fingers, each note heartbreakingly mournful. Time turned back to the beginning of the mortal world, and the eldest son of the newly founded Qin state opened his eyes.

"I want you to awaken and see the bright moon shining over the Qin realm. I want you to live a long life, revered by all, unmatched throughout the nation for generations to come."

In the water mirror, the young man silently watched him, in his own identity, maneuvering through the mortal world step by step. It was just like the former Crown Prince Changqin helplessly watching Fusu set out on a road of no return.

"But I insist on keeping you alive."

CP: Crown Prince Changqin x Lord Fusu. Their names are a match made in heaven. No fixed top or bottom.

Reader's guide:

1. This matchmaking idea came from their exceptionally compatible names and from revisiting an old story to fix its mistakes. Crown Prince Changqin comes from a parallel world, after the primordial world collapsed. Fusu is based on The Legend of Qin, with original additions by the author. Some worldbuilding and background from Fusu Youqin are borrowed, but aside from that, this story has no connection to that series.

2. The setting is a world of gods and demons built on the fantasy elements of The Legend of Qin animation, with a hodgepodge of legends. It is not historically accurate, and I won't be doing research. The author's skills are still limited, and the ideas are odd, so some strange plot twists may catch readers off guard. The animation's characterizations, timeline, and plot will be changed to varying degrees. Some characters will be radically altered, commonly known as extreme OOC. The story takes Qin's side and has little interest in the anti-Qin faction. If any of this bothers you, please don't open the story. Much love~

3. Fans of Hu Hai and Zhao Gao, please steer clear of me. Let's all get along, and thank you very much!

Theme: Knowing it cannot be grasped in an instant, I entrust its lingering echoes to the mournful wind.
