Gazing at the Stars [Revised Edition]

Blurb:

Many years later, Hao Asakura would sometimes think back to that evening when he first met Edogawa Conan, now that he sat high upon his throne.

At twilight, the young detective who had wandered deep into the past saw the fiery clouds reflected in his eyes. They looked just like the golden galaxy he'd later see while drifting through the universe.

That was where it all began.

Important content warnings:

1. Looking back over the old version, I found a lot of plot holes, so I've decided to reorganize and heavily revise the entire story. The old version can be found under the title A Life-Winning Hao-sama. It features frequent cameos from old-school anime series.

2. The protagonist has no CP, but there are a few sneaky, Konoha-style harems. Supporting characters include various men-loving men, women-loving women, nonhumans, and human shopping bags, though they don't get much focus. Don't read if that bothers you.

3. [Important warning] This is self-indulgent, out-of-character fan fiction written for my own enjoyment. My writing skills are limited, the style is unconventional, and there are tons of original details. I let my imagination run wild. The author's intelligence is the ceiling for the characters. Some plotlines, according to the outline, mix and match elements from the original manga and anime. Characters may be more or less out of character, and I've added countless original details. A large proportion of the content doesn't fit the original canon. Don't read if that bothers you.

4. This is a free story, updated whenever I feel like it.

Theme: Give the dreams of our youth a perfect ending.
