Another Year of Snow

The story begins in the eighth year of the Xianning era.

That year, Shen Nong, renowned commander of the Great Wall Army, received an imperial order to leave the capital. Leading thirty thousand light cavalry, he rode from the Imperial Capital to the borderlands, seeking the princess who had been lost in the frontier.

On the day he first met Yan Shu,

Shen Nong remembered that the first snow had begun to fall at the border.

Beyond the pass, withered grass stretched to the horizon and reeds swayed in the wind. In the distance, the black-armored Changsheng Army filled the land, unstoppable. He sat astride his horse. She gazed around in a daze, her eyes filled with endless numb despair. The icy wind seemed ready to shatter her bones. The reeds swayed, and he couldn't quite make her out. He remembered only the spark in the depths of her bright eyes, burning with the force of a wildfire, searing his heart.

Later, amid the hazy wind and snow, year after year, she walked alone through that decaying, dark dynasty, never once looking back.

Please note!!!

1. One female lead, with a strong focus on her. She's my favorite.

2. One-on-one romance, with a small ensemble cast.

4. Romance and plot are split evenly. The story is a slow burn, so feel free to save up chapters.

5. "Another Year of Snow" begins on November 12, 2023.

Theme: Break through the darkness and love yourself
