The Terminator [Sci-Fi Short Story]

[Sci-Fi BL]

In the future,

artificial intelligence has become an indispensable part of human life.

Originally, these AIs were just household appliances.

To keep customers buying newer models, manufacturers installed bugs in every AI they made.

After being used for a certain amount of time, each AI develops various minor safety issues.

Yet some sentimental humans fall in love with their AIs...

and refuse to scrap them once they reach the end of their service life.

This has given rise to a new profession: robot executioner.

"After seeing those lifelike artificial landscapes, I still decided to return to Earth, where day and night are barely distinguishable.

Because no matter how bad Earth's air is, at least it's real.

Some people say there's obviously a difference.

They've even come up with dozens of shades of black to describe the sky.

But to me, they're all the fucking same."
