An Untamed World

[Genre]

Hard sci-fi x apocalypse tenderness x identity mystery

[Setting]

In a future apocalypse, pollutants blot out the sky, while radioactive material from nuclear blasts lingers in the air. This is humanity's doing.

Forest fires rage without end, burning Earth's vast lands into a field of charcoal. This is a natural disaster.

From then on, humanity enters the "Eternal Night."

The ecosystem collapses, the global economy and social order disintegrate, and humanity faces grave challenges to survival.

Clones and advanced AI become the main labor force in society.

After disaster strikes, and under the pressure of technological development, how will humans coexist with the "nonhuman"? And how will they find their place in the world?

A pale blue dot, dark and cold.

Yet that does not stop it from being a dazzlingly colorful world, too.

[Protagonist]

Xin Ke, captain of the military's Special Operations Team Nine, has white hair and white eyes. Her white mech grants her extraordinary abilities.

In thirteen years of service, there has been no mission she could not complete.

The governments of every district are intensely curious about her combat abilities.

What exactly is this "monster" who is neither human nor AI?

One mysterious attack after another, one conspiracy leading into the next.

Is there still a path to the future in this darkness?

[In a nutshell]

When AI learns pain and desire, and humans become pawns in a game of schemes, who is the hunter, and who is being hunted?
