In the mental world, Chu Sui meets Chu Sui's gaze. That face, identical to his own, is sometimes affectionate and gentle, and sometimes so unfamiliar it makes him shudder with fear. Chu Sui's eyes flicker, and he suddenly leans in to kiss Chu Sui on the lips.

Chu Sui freezes for a moment. The next second, he pins the mischievous Chu Sui in his arms, a faint smile at his lips as he asks, "Why'd you suddenly kiss me?"

The fingers of Chu Sui's hand against Chu Sui's chest curl instinctively. He is a little timid, but licks his lips and says, "I wanted a thrill."

Side CP 1: romantic, free-spirited, beautiful young pianist x outwardly composed mature man, inwardly a mad dog top with pathological possessiveness

On their wedding night, from the sofa to the side table, to the rug, to a narrow corner, to beside the floor-to-ceiling window... Sheng Jianyu pants and looks up at him. "Are you still thinking straight?"

Xu Shiyin only takes half a second to think before pinning Sheng Jianyu against the cold glass of the window and kissing him passionately again.

His dark eyes brim with surging love and desire. He says irrationally, "We don't need that tonight."

Side CP 2: aloof, genius young prodigy in esports and magic x wealthy young master who falls in love at first sight and forcibly keeps his idol

Xu Ran struggles, but every attempt to resist is easily suppressed. Xun Yue binds his obstructive wrists with a belt, then dips two fingers in cream and slips them into Xu Ran's mouth.

"Xu Ran, cake is supposed to be sweet and delicious, but every time I taste you, you're always so bitter." Xun Yue lowers his head, his gaze dark, and licks the cream smeared on Xu Ran's Adam's apple. "...Finally, sweet."

Selfcest side CP: aloof, ascetic professor bottom x vicious, twisted, debauched alter top (very little focus, with a separate story planned)

After downing a glass of strong liquor, cold yet faintly warm, Yu Han's whole body flushes red, like a ripe fruit ready to be plucked.

Yu Han gazes obsessively at his bound reflection in the mirror. He is even tempted to wake Yu Shan, sleeping in his consciousness. He imagines how Yu Shan would react if he were awake right now, picturing Yu Shan's cold, humiliated expression as he was treated this way. The unbearable desire turns into intense pleasure that courses through his limbs.

Limited-edition selfcest side CP: universally adored, adorable little song god x cool, proud fake young master (a self-created OC for a Time-Space Academy assignment x the player character)

"I'm sorry. Don't cry." Wen Can raises an arm that hurts unbearably whenever he moves it and gently cups Fan Yang's face. He meets Fan Yang's unfocused, vacant eyes. "Can't you see? Don't be afraid. You'll be all right."

A kiss filled with the smell of blood falls on Fan Yang's trembling lips in the snow. He hears Wen Can say in a barely audible breath, "It's okay. In the countless other worldlines, we'll meet again."

◆This story is the opening chapter for A Refined Scoundrel and Flowers in the Blazing Sun.

◆The plot follows the timeline without deviation. The main CP only serves as a connecting thread throughout. The main story of the two Chus has been moved to Flowers in the Blazing Sun.

◆As in the main series, everyone is a scoundrel. It includes backstory for many of the supporting characters, but only covers the ending of one side CP.
