After I Was Wounded in Battle, My Mortal Enemy Took Me In

[Things are too chaotic. I need to take a long break and sort everything out properly (covers face).]

Jiang Jibai is beautiful, unruly, and completely unhinged. He's the sworn enemy of Fu Zihua, who has always been rigid and proper.

The two have never gotten along, and every year on Fu Zihua's birthday, Jiang Jibai sends him a gift under his real name, each one full of malicious whimsy.

No one expected Jiang Jibai, whose future had seemed so bright, to defect and become the Federation's most wanted criminal.

Fu Zihua swore he would arrest him with his own hands, even if it meant they both died.

Until one late night, Jiang Jibai, badly wounded, collapsed in front of Fu Zihua.

The blood-covered madman grinned provocatively. "Have you opened any of the gifts I sent you?"

Some time later, Jiang Jibai's companions searched the whole city for him and contacted the undercover agent who had become one of Fu Zihua's subordinates.

Companion: "The last person he went to see was your Captain Fu. Could it be..."

Undercover agent: "How could that be? Are you saying our boss would bring his sworn enemy home and pamper him with good food and drink?!"

Some time later, the Special Operations Team received a tip and came to arrest someone.

Jiang Jibai looked innocent, his tone lazy and his voice hoarse. "Oh, I called them."

Fu Zihua: "???"

"Are you going to arrest me yourself?" Jiang Jibai brought his wrists together and held them out to his sworn enemy. "Or are you coming with me to run for our lives?"

Fu Zihua laughed in astonishment. "You're insane."
