(New Gods: Yang Jian (Sweet Candied Fruit)

To repeat, this is a fanfiction based on the movie [New Gods: Yang Jian].

[Complete. Feel free to give it a try and add it to your collection. Synopsis below.]

About the heroine: She has a voluptuous figure and a sweet, delicate way of speaking. Yu Mi'er had no powerful backer and became an immortal through her own hard work, so she's no naive damsel. She's gentle yet strong-willed and resilient.

So that's that. No angsty, tragic romance, just sweet love as always. Hope you'll give it a try!

Synopsis: As a ginseng spirit, she first gained consciousness after absorbing the essence of the sun and moon. With her roots planted in the earth, she roamed the mountains, hiding from humans. Later, she learned to take human form.

To cultivate immortality, she descended from the mountains and began her journey in the human world, trying to cultivate her heart and refine her form amid the complexities and unpredictable nature of human society, so that she could one day ascend the Heavenly Ladder.

After experiencing all the complexity and ugliness of human nature, and triumphing over her inner demons through countless dark nights, she finally reached the Heavenly Ladder, battered in both body and spirit.

Having been through so much, she had prepared herself for a lifetime of solitude. Then she met someone who, even while covered in blood, resolutely stood between her and danger. At that moment, she had a faint feeling that her difficult, lonely, wretched half-life had been leading her to meet the man who, just by standing there, was like a spring breeze beneath a bright moon.

"I am Yu Mi'er."

"Yang Jian, at your service."

Theme: No matter how dark it gets, there is always a glimmer of light to illuminate your darkness.
