The Protagonist Always Thinks Someone Is Out to Get Him

[New books: Rampo-kun Becomes a Phantom Thief Football Is Best Played by Stealing the Ball] My name is Kazamatsuri Rin. I'm someone everyone hates. Every day, I'm alone, carefully guarding against the people around me trying to harm me. At school, my classmates ostracize me. My shoe locker is always full of threatening letters, things in my desk often go missing, and I'm repeatedly lured to spots behind the gym where there are no security cameras. At the Port Mafia, I'm bullied at work. My subordinates keep sending me on the most dangerous missions and making sarcastic remarks, hoping I'll quit. Even when I try to be friendly, they get so disgusted with me that they run away. Fine, whatever. It's no big deal if you don't want to be friends with me. I never wanted to be friends with you, either. I don't care if you hate me. No matter how much you hate me, you still can't get rid of me. * [Kazamatsuri Rin Fan Club: Lord Kazamatsuri is radiating so much presence today that no one dares go near him!] Note: The character setup takes some inspiration from Handa-kun. The cover uses a purchased template. I'll add more if I think of anything else. _ Rampo-kun Becomes a Phantom Thief After openly exposing the corrupt commander of an army base, the young Rampo once again faces the prospect of being expelled. But just before he is expelled, he reaches out and grabs a girl named Bisia. The girl suddenly awakened her Specialist Nen ability and fell from Meteor City to Yokohama. She sees Rampo's one-of-a-kind talent and invites him to become her partner. A few days later, a grandiose, chuunibyou-style declaration by a phantom thief appears in the Yokohama newspapers. But the secrets it casually reveals lead countless people to see a storm on the horizon. Before long, the mysterious phantom thief arrives right on schedule. A boy dressed as extravagantly as if for a stage play beneath the moonlight, and a girl hiding in the shadows, silently controlling everyone... Time and again, they prove that no prey they set their sights on can escape. Notes: 1. The story begins when Rampo is fourteen, so there will be a lot of original material and some original worldbuilding. 2. Rampo and Bisia will probably go through a process of taming each other. 3. The main series is Bungo Stray Dogs, but there will be crossovers with a few other manga. Those other series won't take up much of the story. 4. I revised the blurb by changing only how Rampo and Bisia first meet. Everything else is unchanged. Thesis: Gentle people will always find friends
