I Became the Villain's Big Orange Cat

Ju Miao discovers that he has transmigrated into a book as a little orange kitten. Not only does he get plenty of delicious food and drink, but people wait on him, too.

It is only when he hears that someone is coming to adopt him that he realizes he has transmigrated into a book. He is destined to be chosen as the most outstanding young beast and sign a contract with the final boss villain, becoming his most useful beast companion!

He does the tailing, the lookout duty, the fighting, and even serves as a mount!

Basically, he is the background character who always appears when the villain makes an entrance, the loyal subordinate, and the mid-stage boss who stands in the protagonist's way before the final battle!

This can't be right. He's just an ordinary orange cat who happens to eat a lot!

To avoid a fate of juggling a bunch of jobs while working around the clock, he tries to eat more and move less, aiming to slack off.

Staff: His appetite's gone up again lately. He's got a bright future!

To avoid being picked, he tries to get his coworkers to stage a scene where he's being bullied.

Staff: He's already gotten along famously with the other demon beasts. His leadership skills have grown tremendously!

Finally, to avoid being picked, he cuts off the problem at its source and prepares to run away.

But the moment he climbs over the courtyard wall, he lands squarely on a child and foils a kidnapping.

Staff: Good heavens! It even ran out on its own to save someone! It really is fate!

Ju Miao: No!!!

Cute little boy who hasn't grown up yet, and future terrifying, unhinged villain: You don't want me?

Ju Miao: It's not about whether I want you. It's about me wanting to stay alive.

Villain: Five meals a day, all you can eat, plus dessert and snacks. You just have to stay by my side.

Ju Miao: I'm your pig... I mean, I'm your cat now!

Theme: Believe that light exists in this world.
