Upper Moon One experienced the full family reunion package in Hell. But after serving his sentence, he failed to reincarnate and had to remain there.

The divine beast of the Peach Blossom Paradise successfully won custody of the six-eyed demon. The god carefully mended his muddled mind, and he even received a direct job offer from Hell.

The First Assistant of Hell praised his resume and efficiency, then tricked him into becoming a temp worker.

Years later, overworked and underpaid, Iwa Katsumasa wondered dazedly: What did I come to Hell for again?

*

Ten years later, as his scheduled reincarnation approached, he saw that human life in the world above was a living hell. There was no end to the monsters and cursed spirits, and it was impossible to tell the divine children from the crazed ones.

Katsumasa turned around and fixed his gaze on the little demon guard. "We're old acquaintances. Give me a backdoor. I'm done being human."

But his reincarnation went wrong. Drawn by a unique and powerful force, he peeked into the darkness...

And became a shikigami that had been summoned.

"..." Well, at least I really wasn't human.

Demon: Is there anything wrong with pursuing power?

The little demon guard chased after him, cursing in terror.

*

The long-awaited world above...

All his memories and emotions came rushing back. He missed his tall adult body. His upper body was bare, its pale skin revealing strong, smooth contours, and the two dark red markings had grown hot again. He slowly turned to look at the summoner, thinking that if the shikigami user tried to tame him, he could let them run for their life, considering the power they possessed.

"Dear Brother"...

When he saw Yoriichi's calm, lifeless eyes, he thought he must have imagined it.

Katsumasa: ...

I was wrong. Send me back to Hell.

Reader's guide:

*OOC warning. This is derived solely from the original manga, with extensive headcanons. Read if you can handle it; if not, stop here.

*Centered on the eldest brother, mainly about the Tsugikuni brothers. A story of growth and daily life (the first volume takes place in Hell, including a period of mental growth). The Tsugikuni brothers fight together in the middle volumes.

*There are angsty moments, but the brother raised by a god will clutch his stomach and still give a monster a hard smack.

*He enters the jujutsu world to hunt yokai. He also fights cursed spirits, but the main plot is about conflicts between brothers. There are many alternate routes, the timeline is jumbled, and Heaven and Hell get deeply involved. Power-scaling fans, beware.

*I drew the ugly cover myself. This is a labor of love, and I'm a reliable writer. The blurb has been revised.
