#Also known as: Gotham Rogues' Book of Friends#
After accomplishing his mission to protect the planet, S-rank guide Elvis was transported to Gotham just as he was on the verge of death. He was grievously injured and had become younger. It took him years of hardship to finally get his life back to normal.
After completing his studies and returning, he decided to apply for a job at Arkham, since its solitary confinement room was essentially his "spawn point."
A guide working as a doctor in an asylum. Perfect.
Given that Gothamites love to work out, have high energy, and enjoy plenty of entertainment, Arkham's clientele is always growing.
Elvis chats and plays games with the patients, while releasing his mental tendrils to soothe their emotions and make high-risk criminals trust and depend on him subconsciously.
He always says, "I hope you have a pleasant day."
The patients love their young, handsome doctor. Compared to the crude, stupid guards, Elvis is an angel!
If he runs into them on the weekend while they're out as a group after escaping, he'll even treat them to a big meal and make sure they're well fed... Wait, when did Batman get here?!
Elvis: What kind of job isn't a job? Besides, these little troublemakers will be caught by the hardworking Batman and sent back "home."
All in all, compared to the battlefields of his previous life, where planets routinely exploded and star systems fought each other, Gotham is peaceful and friendly.
The one unpredictable thing is that solitary confinement room. The trouble it causes gives a lot of people extra work.
He needs to find a way to study the room's teleportation mechanism. Should he ask Batman for help? That should work.

Recently, Gothamites have occasionally seen the Joker quietly going on dates with a blond man.
The Joker. Quietly. Dating. What a terrifying combination.
In response, S-rank guide, now an Arkham psychiatrist, Elvis smiled and said, "Just a small reward for a kind soul."
The Joker's cheeks were gaunt and his face pale. He flashed an international gesture of goodwill. "That's what you get for coming into contact with your bodily fluids, guide pheromones! You pretentious, pathetic, narcissistic, arrogant bastard. You're guilty of a thousand deaths for being gay!"
Elvis: "That's a good joke. Thanks ^_^"

Content warnings:
* A lighthearted, brainless story with an overpowered golden finger. The guide's abilities follow a nonstandard Sentinel-Guide setting. Lots of original worldbuilding. The pursuer is intensely protective, but this is Arkham.
* Joker is the love interest. His background has been made up, so J fans may not enjoy this (out of character and he gets put through the wringer).
* Focuses on Arkham's rogues and their friendships, not the Batfamily. Don't read it just because the blurb mentions Batman. The timeline is chaotic, and characterizations draw on the animated shows, Lego, and television series (with a little character torment, but a TAS vibe). No one will hurt the Bat-kids, and there won't be much angst.
* The Riddler and Penguin are mentioned (probably).
