[Obsessive, controlling, unhinged Sentinel bottom x seemingly frail but truly sadistic Guide top]
In an S-class prison north of the Central Tower, a "princess" waits to be rescued. The bounty on the mysterious prisoner is high, and the mission doesn't require killing them.
Sounds right up his alley. Sentinel Su Qingming accepts the job and leads his team into the prison.
"Good morning, sir."
The first person he encounters is a delicate, handsome Guide with silver hair. At the sight of the intruder, the Guide seems to mistake the Sentinel for someone from the lab. Politely, he explains that he's been having trouble sleeping and asks if he could get some medicine.
His slender, clearly defined fingers lift to his head, his pale fingertips tapping lightly as he wears a troubled, innocent expression.
"Would that be possible?"
"Good morning, my princess." The Sentinel answers just as politely, looking coldly at the Guide, who sits in a pristine, tranquil room, immaculate as a holy son.
"But I'm afraid I'm not your rescuer."
The next moment, the Sentinel abducts him from his cage.
And plunges headfirst into the bottomless pit of caring for this delicate Guide.
Sentinel: Before I snatched him, I never imagined an S-class Guide could be this fragile.

One day, in an attempt to improve their compatibility, the Sentinel and Guide try kissing.
Su Qingming always wants to stay in control, but the uncooperative Guide lashes out with a forked tongue. They nearly suffocate in their battle of lips and tongues. The next moment, the venomous snake kisses the Sentinel's vulnerable Adam's apple, only to be wrenched away as the Sentinel forcefully grips the back of his neck.
"No. You have to listen to me, obey me completely. Understand?"
The helpless, frail Guide, supposedly forced against his will, smiles with a snake-like split at the edge of his lips.
His gaze is icy and gloomy as he flicks out a scarlet forked tongue, wrapping it around the man holding him by the throat and leaving a gleaming ring around his wrist.
"Understood, Qingming."
But the Sentinel is taking full advantage of him. He might as well get something out of it.
*
"Everything for the pure, unblemished Tower."
That familiar voice haunts him, echoing in his mind again and again.
To fulfill the conviction he formed as a child, Su Qingming plans to make use of the "princess" he's finally abducted from the lab. Rapunzel or the Princess and the Pea, whatever. Who cares?
All that matters is that Bai Hui, this dangerous handful, this monster fused with his own spirit animal and beautiful only on the outside, must sacrifice his life to topple the evil forces entrenched in the Central Tower. Then Su Qingming's team can lead the way to an ideal world and build a truly peaceful White Tower.
This will be an offering in memory of his Sentinel mentor.
Reader's Guide:
* Sentinel-and-Guide setting, with a mountain of personal headcanons. The main plot follows the bottom, with ensemble scenes featuring the team. The protagonists have morals, but not many.
* Older top. A one-on-one romance in every sense. No doomed first love. Romance makes up a significant part of the story, so please check whether it's for you.
* "Good morning, my princess" is a movie reference.
