A x B
Younger gong + melodrama + childbirth
He looks like an utterly ordinary beta. He always keeps his head down and wears a mask. His back is hunched as if something is weighing on it, and he can never straighten up.
No one knows how he got here, and no one has ever seen his face clearly.
If there's anything that sets him apart, it's probably that he's more afraid of camera flashes than anyone else.
Last time, several high-status omegas came to photograph their famous slum. The camera accidentally caught him, and at last he snapped out of his daze. Panicking, he hid behind a pile of garbage, curling up his frail body and trembling nonstop.
The omegas smiled brightly, thinking he was just a timid, ignorant beta from the slums.
Of course, no one cared that in the middle of the night, he had bent his back, which would never straighten, and stumbled back to his room.
It seemed that after his picture was taken, a top-tier Alpha, completely out of place in their shabby slum, showed up with his men and tried to drag him into a car.
For the first time, they saw him scream in despair, his frail body struggling nonstop. The exceptionally handsome Alpha's face finally cracked. Right there in public, he tore off his bite guard, bared his sharp fangs, and bit down hard on the beta's degenerated gland.
At last, the beta went still, his arms hanging limply like a marionette with its strings cut. The Alpha carried him into the car, where a fair, chubby little child was crying and rushing into his arms.
One day, the residents were chatting when a girl declared with absolute certainty that she'd seen his face. He was Li Mu--
The beta whose looks were merely pleasant, who couldn't sing in tune, but whom the powerful had aggressively pushed to fame, only to cast him down from his pedestal just as brutally.
Oh, so he's that beta. No wonder he doesn't dare show his face, the residents said with a laugh.
One-on-one, happy ending
Spoiled, nasty, handsome Alpha gong x beta shou, dark-skinned and hefty at first, later fairer, thinner, and an honest sort
Content warnings:
1. Both gong and shou go through angst (the blurb doesn't mention gong angst). The shou's and gong's suffering take different forms, but neither gets let off easy. Don't read on if you haven't finished the story, no, no!
2. There are tons of potential triggers. Aside from the fact that it'll be completed and have a happy ending, nothing else is guaranteed.
3. The gong is spoiled and is not a virgin. The shou has dated before, and the little shou isn't chaste either.
4. This is a melodramatic angst novel, a melodramatic angst novel, a melodramatic angst novel, a melodramatic angst novel. The author may not be able to capture the cathartic ache of an angst novel, but there will definitely be melodramatic plot twists. Read with caution (hides face).
5. The author isn't particular about any pairing dynamic. I just love this old-school melodramatic flavor and wanted to write something for myself.
Theme: Love and redemption
