A Strange Beloved

The little witches in the village have a traditional team-building activity.

When they come of age, they go to a love demon to find out what their "one true love" looks like, then amuse themselves with clues like "long hair," "blue eyes," or "sharp little fangs."

When it was Lilit's turn, the demon fell silent for a long time.

"Your beloved has a very large belly, strong limbs, and lots of fur. He'll give you a love both passionate and frightening."

The little witches went wild.

"Pass it on! Lilit, who is always wandering off, is going to be kidnapped and ravished by an evil beastman!"

Lilit: "????"

"I'm swearing off love right now."

Three years later, on a full-moon night, a special visitor knocked on Lilit's wooden door.

"Hello, Miss Witch. I'd like you to brew a potion for me."

The visitor had a perfect face, and his alluring pectorals dazzled Lilit. But his lower half belonged to a huge spider with eight legs, a big belly, and black bristles.

Lilit: "How strange. Let me take another look."
