The title is written from the shou’s point of view. 3. Both leads are reborn. In their previous lives, the gong’s death had nothing to do with the shou. The shou had unrequited feelings for the gong in their previous lives, and those feelings remain one-sided in the early part of this life. The gong will return them, but very slowly... The romance is a slow burn, and the point of view alternates, though there is more from the gong’s perspective, and he is the main character. 4. This is not recommended for gong fans or shou fans.
