Falling from the High Platform

[Currently drafting~]

If no one in the world can love you, then let me love you.

Luo Wujun is an immortal admired by all, while Ling Wugui is a vicious evil ghost trampled underfoot.

On the day the immortal bestows his blessings, Ling Wugui's face is revealed to everyone.

The mask that had hidden his face is gone, unveiling a face of breathtaking beauty. More astonishing still, it is identical to the face of the immortal on the high platform. But no matter how much a monster imitates an immortal, it is still just a monster.

Everyone thinks Luo Wujun will let the demon die forever in Yinshan. Even Ling Wugui thinks so. But the admired immortal walks step by step to his side, then simply crouches down and wipes away his tears.

*

The two of them have the same face, but their lives could not be more different.

One cares for the world and pities all living things; the other is violent, wanton, and ruthless.

The day Luo Wujun is hailed as an immortal, Ling Wugui appears wearing a mask of demons.

The day Luo Wujun is admired by everyone, Ling Wugui must watch his back at every turn.

The day Luo Wujun bestows his blessings, Ling Wugui wants only to die.

They both know:

Luo Wujun is an immortal. Ling Wugui is an evil ghost.

To Luo Wujun, Ling Wugui is someone he hates to the core, someone whose bones he wishes he could break one by one and swallow.

He never imagined Luo Wujun would lose his composure because of him, or that Luo Wujun would bestow those so-called blessings on him again and again.

They are each other's weakness, and the people closest to each other.

I fell from the high platform, and you were there to catch me.

Extra scene:

In a certain hall, Luo Wujun lightly swings the chain at his fingertips, forcing Ling Wugui's hand to move. The bright red cord winds its way up his arm.

Luo Wujun pulls him close and wipes the tears from Ling Wugui's eyes. In a cruel tone, he murmurs sweet nothings. "Qingqing, why are you crying? I know you inside and out, body and soul. No one is a better match for us."

Ling Wugui hates Luo Wujun's hypocritical act, especially those eyes full of pity.

After all, Luo Wujun is the one who made him this way.

Blurb first written in 2022~

An aloof, dignified evil ghost as the bottom × a dark, hypocritical immortal as the top

P.S.

The bottom cries uncontrollably, for a real reason that will be explained. Both are villains, and both are powerful.

They love and hate each other, enemies to lovers, mutual redemption, 1v1, slow burn, and they dote on each other!!! (Not your typical mutual doting.) Their feelings for each other are extremely strong, and they pursue each other wholeheartedly. No switching roles or breaking up!!!

Plot-to-romance ratio: 7:3

Theme: Don't judge people based only on what others say. Look at them with your heart.
