After Binding to a System, I Helped My Childhood Friend Ascend the Throne

At the age of three, Yun Qingyan was bound to the [Emperor's Advisor System] and was pushed by the System every day to become a top student.

System: Your mission is to choose a partner, assist the ruler, and usher in an era of peace and prosperity.

Yun Qingyan obediently nodded, then turned around and chose his beautiful, tragic, and powerful childhood friend as his partner.

System: The mission target, not your marriage partner!

Everyone said the Marquis of Zhaoping had picked the wrong side. Even the System thought so.

The other princes had powerful maternal clans and lived in luxury, while the Sixth Prince's birth mother had died early, and Emperor Zhao ignored him. He didn't have enough to eat or warm clothes to wear.

A brilliant young heir and a pitiful little Sixth Prince? Absolutely ridiculous!

Yun Qingyan didn't agree. Making sure someone had enough to eat was easy. He declared confidently, "Brother Xiao Liu, I'll make lots of dishes for you from now on!"

Qin Weilou was deeply moved, then went into the kitchen and cooked for him for the rest of his life.

They studied, practiced martial arts, went to war, diverted floods, built roads, and enriched the people. The whole nation recommended the Sixth Prince as crown prince.

As he raised him, his pitiful childhood friend transformed into the crown prince of a neighboring country.

The public face-slapping left the court in an uproar and the System in shock.

The people of Great Zhao: Don't you have a crown prince of your own? Why are you stealing ours?

Only Qin Weilou knew that Yun Qingyan was the most precious treasure in the world.

[Reading Guide]

1. They grow up first, then start developing the country. The pace is a little slow, and the romance comes later.

2. Set in an imaginary ancient world, with a huge number of fictional details. I'm not an expert, and my research is limited, so anything that differs from reality should be treated as fictional worldbuilding.

3. Names are chosen casually. In real ancient times, there were many naming taboos, but there aren't any in this imaginary setting.

4. Additional content warnings are in the author's note for Chapter 3. More will be added if anything else comes to mind.

Theme: Don't doubt it, you're the best.
