After Transmigrating into a Book, I Choose Farming and Retirement

[Short Story]

An accidental explosion transports Jiang Mingyu from a Western fantasy world to the twenty-first century.

There is no black magic here, no wars between races, and certainly no mountains of paperwork.

Jiang Mingyu: This is fantastic! I've wanted to retire and take it easy for ages!

He finds a nearby place with mountains and water, puts on a bamboo hat, and begins his peaceful farming life!

He works at sunrise and rests at sunset. When he's got nothing else to do, he can even head out to sea to fish. Life is both regular and fun.

When Jiang Mingyu realizes he's been transported into a novel he'd read, one that ended abruptly, he is filled with despair.

The novel ended abruptly because the male lead died suddenly from overwork, the world was destroyed, and that was the end of the story.

To stop the world from being destroyed, Jiang Mingyu has no choice but to ask a friend to find out where the male lead is, so he can make sure the guy doesn't keel over somewhere without him knowing!

Jiang Mingyu thinks hard. "There's someone I've wanted to see for a long time. In college, he promised to protect me for the rest of my life, but he disappeared after graduation. He's outstanding, graduated from Q University, lives in Q City, has both parents, two older brothers, and a younger brother. He's the one person I could never forget, my one true love!"

His friend, who fits the description perfectly and is eager to volunteer: ?!
