The Lie-Flat Little Snake's Adventures

After hatching, Xie Qi had always made his way alone. Though he bore the title of Dragon King’s only son, he still relied on himself to make a name for himself in the dragon realm, becoming one of its greatest generals.

He always believed that teammates couldn’t be trusted, and that he could rely only on himself.

The final step to becoming a true dragon was to enter the cycle of reincarnation and be reborn as a dragon egg, starting all over again.

But fate threw him a curveball. After being reborn...

Xie Qi: “Where are my strong, powerful dragon claws?”

His claws had regressed and disappeared.

Xie Qi: “Where are my dragon wings that can carry me ninety thousand miles into the sky?”

His wings had regressed and disappeared.

After regressing far too much, he turned into a cute little black snake with a low IQ, the very definition of useless at everything and a champion at giving up.

Even his mighty dragon roar regressed into an adorable “Awooo~”

With his pride wounded, Xie Qi started trying to end his life.

Butler: “Young master, something’s wrong! The little black snake crawled into your bathtub and is trying to drown himself!”

Yi Lin rushed over at once and carefully dried Xie Qi off with a bath towel.

Butler: “Young master, something’s wrong! The little black snake is crawling under your covers to suffocate himself!”

Yi Lin gently climbed into bed, picked him up, and wrapped him around his waist. “I don’t need you to be strong. It’s cute when you’re a little silly.”

And so, every time Xie Qi tried to kill himself, he failed. In the end, he gave up and decided to do nothing!

Xie Qi flicked out his tongue, slithered onto Yi Lin’s shoulder, and spoke. “I’ve spent my whole life fighting. Can’t I take it easy for once? Being a silly beauty is great!”
