The Strongest Starship Designer [Interstellar]

Awakened humans are the gifted few, able to wield mental power to pilot starships and explore the universe.

Ming Yu, the second son of the Ming family in the Central Star Region, is the family's only non-awakened member. Out of place among his parents and brothers, he's called a pretty vase among the gifted, a beautiful good-for-nothing who never tries to improve.

When the Starflight Competition opens, attracting the attention of all humanity as it searches for exceptional starship pilots, the "pretty good-for-nothing" Ming Yu secretly signs up to earn money and escape the oppressive Ming household.

From the start, luck is not on his side: he gets matched with a team that looks completely unreliable.

Six of the team's seven members are non-awakened humans without mental power. They pilot a haphazardly modified starship, and look doomed to be eliminated in the first round.

Ming Yu refuses to give up. He rolls up his sleeves and starts by redesigning the starship, becoming a dark horse in the qualifiers.

Gradually, he discovers that the team's coolheaded starship pilot is a hidden powerhouse. Meanwhile, by sheer coincidence, Ming Yu's own mental power awakens and grows stronger again and again, evolving new offensive abilities...

News of Ming Yu entering the Starflight Competition leaks unexpectedly.

At first, everyone scoffs at him, waiting to see how he'll disgrace the Ming family.

After a while...

"Wait, that dark horse team that beat the Ming family... The genius starship designer is Ming Yu?!"

"And the incredible spotter with the mental power that can devour things is Ming Yu, too?!"

"That ruthless, taciturn starship pilot... is Ming Yu..."

Ming Yu: "This time it wasn't me! It was my boyfriend!"

Later, they pilot their starships into space and drive back the Black Tide. The lost sea of stars reappears, and a chaotic city is transformed into an orderly paradise. Someone once thought to have died in battle returns to the throne.

When the new king is crowned, Ming Yu, now hailed as a Starflight legend, stands at his side.

At the solemn ceremony watched by countless people, a tall, handsome man takes the royal ring from the tray, then turns to Ming Yu and drops to one knee.

He takes Ming Yu's hand, reins in his sharp aura, and lets a hint of a smile into his usually impassive eyes. He slides the royal ring onto Ming Yu's ring finger and solemnly declares:

"My love will never change."

Mecha Engineer and the Fluffy Wolf

Blurb:

After dying from a genetic illness, Rong Mi, the chief therapist aboard the flagship, returns to humanity's glorious old era, before an insect invasion forced people to flee into space. He becomes a star-network singer hated by the entire internet.

His previous self was drowning in debt due to a pile of scandals, and has no choice but to earn a living by entering the highly dangerous mecha combat tournament.

The audience, passionate about high-octane competitions, curses him out: "Where'd this pretty vase come from? He probably doesn't even know how to take a mecha out of a space capsule! Why does the tournament accept contestants like him?!"

Rong Mi: "As it happens, I was the chief mecha engineer on the flagship."

During the tournament, other contestants are chased all over the arena by ice butterfly insects, screaming for rescue.

Surrounded by enemies, Rong Mi remains calm, takes on a hundred at once, and cuts them down with ease in a mecha blazing with purple flames of mental power. Everyone is left stunned.

From then on, Rong Mi bursts onto the scene and makes a name for himself.

He sheds the label of scandal-ridden singer, joins the military, and becomes a rising star.

Over a year later, war between humanity and the insect race breaks out unexpectedly.

The young man, hailed as the light of humanity, stands amid the flames of war. At a moment of crisis that threatens the fate of the star region, he steps forward without hesitation, cleaving through despair and chaos...

And unleashes a wave of fervent adoration.

During the mecha tournament, Rong Mi saves an impossibly handsome and adorable fluffy silver wolf battle companion, and gets its fluffy human owner thrown in for free.

Fluff-loving Rong Mi: "As payment for saving you, I want to bury my face in all that fluff and take a million huge sniffs!"

Silver wolf: "..."

The rescued Federation general, Lu Yi: "..."

The young man who saved him is wonderful in every way, except that he loves petting, hugging, and rubbing against Lu Yi's spirit-form wolf, and has no idea that Lu Yi and the wolf are linked by empathy.

When Rong Mi once again uses the silver wolf as a giant pillow, buries himself in its fur, and greedily nuzzles and sniffs the back of its neck with his forehead and lips... Lu Yi can finally take no more.

He looks at the young man, desire surging in his eyes.

"Don't play with the wolf." The usually indifferent general taps his own lips. "Play with me."
