Qiyuan Dong was imprisoned for fraud. One day in prison, he accidentally choked to death while eating. When he opened his eyes again, the shabby prison dormitory had become a luxurious private room.

Qiyuan Dong: ?

A mechanical voice sounded beside him, telling him that he was in the world of Bungo Stray Dogs, inside Meursault Prison. If he wanted to come back to life or get out, he had to complete the System's missions, assume secret identities, and raise their profiles in this world.

Qiyuan Dong opened the secret identity list.

[Bourbon/Amuro Tooru (Furuya Rei) · The King of Part-Time Jobs]

[You hold the loneliest ideals and carry the most tragic past. You go your own way, determined to create the brightest future for this country.]

[Scotch/Midorikawa Kei (Morofushi Hiromitsu) · The White Moonlight]

[You are a scar that will never fade from their hearts, an undercover police officer living in darkness with a heart full of light.]

[Hagiwara Kenji (Ability Form) · The Social Butterfly]

[You're silver-tongued and a master of social graces. You playfully brush off your childhood friend's warning, never expecting that this playful moment would freeze your youthful face in time.]

[Matsuda Jinpei (Black Suit Limited Edition) · The Dying Man]

[You wore mourning clothes for someone for four years. For four years, you sent unanswered messages to a phone number. Today is the day you take revenge for him.]

[Date Wataru (Limited-Time Appearance) · First Division Detective]

[On a date. Do not disturb.]

Qiyuan Dong, who hadn't watched much Detective Conan: So that's how it is. I understand completely!

The System, looking up information: ? What exactly do you understand?

After going undercover for the government, then infiltrating the Special Division for Unusual Powers, and then going undercover from there into the Port Mafia, Furuya Rei became its fifth executive.

In the underworld, an unwritten rule began to circulate:

"Don't mention Bourbon. He can hear you."

Scotch, who had jumped ship from the minic to the Port Mafia, smiled faintly. Under his leadership, the minic had long since become an official government force.

"For the sake of justice, I have no regrets."

After Shibusawa Tatsuhiko's mist dispersed, the Hunting Dogs welcomed a new recruit. The ability user, whose head crystal was wrapped in bandages, said with a smile that he had an incredibly impressive childhood friend in the Armed Detective Agency.

"I feel so bad about what I did to him."

The Armed Detective Agency got a new bomb disposal expert, an oddball who wore formal clothes even to a fireworks festival. During his entrance test, he swore to everyone that he would cut the enemy who killed his childhood friend into a thousand pieces.

But when he and the Agency were fleeing the Hunting Dogs, he raised his gun at someone who looked exactly like his childhood friend.

"You're not him."

People in the Bungo Stray Dogs world who had watched Detective Conan and met these men: ??? Are these character settings a little off?

A few years later, after the secret identities had returned to their rightful owners, Qiyuan Dong rolled over on the luxurious bed in Meursault. He scribbled a couple of words in a blank book beside him, and the System's constant demands that he retrieve the 'Book' abruptly stopped.

He stretched, then punched a hole through the wall of Meursault.

Life was this good. Who'd want to go back to prison?
