After Being Mind-Read, the Rich Heiress's Character Falls Apart

Chu Yi transmigrates into a school novel as a wealthy heiress, the villainess who clings to the male lead, gets in the way of the main couple, earns his utter hatred, and meets a tragic end.

And her mission target is actually the villain! Not the male lead. Yay!

The male lead loathes the villainess and tells her, "Don't waste your effort. Even if I die, I will never..."

Chu Yi accidentally smacks him in the face with a flower! Ah! My hand slipped!

Male lead: ...

To make the villain turn evil, Chu Yi acts like a total menace on the surface, while secretly brimming with a sense of justice and cursing herself in her head.

"I'm awful!"

"Ugh! So I'm the bad guy after all!"

The villain, who can hear the villainess's thoughts, is baffled and confused. Is there something wrong with her head? Whatever. He won't hold it against her.

Chu Yi is confident in her acting. With all her outrageous behavior, the villain must hate her by now.

"System, the corruption value must be maxed out by now, right?"

System: "It's only... a tiny bit away..."

Chu Yi: !!

--

Chu Yi refuses to believe it and tells the villain to get lost. He silently gives her a kiss, then thoughtfully closes the door as he leaves the room.

Chu Yi: ...She's run out of brainpower!

The villain's corruption value keeps dropping, so the System reluctantly comes back online.

[Initiating ultimate plan: Ignore the villain's love and throw yourself into someone else's arms. Make him love you but never have you, and max out his corruption!]

Chu Yi tentatively starts spending time with someone else.

[Corruption value +1]

Chu Yi tries holding someone else's hand.

[Corruption value +5!]

Maybe she should date someone else and get engaged, too?

As soon as the thought crosses her mind, she watches the corruption value soar!

The System really does know what it's doing!!

In the end, the plot spirals completely out of control.

Chu Yi's response: Don't fall for me. It won't work out.

She just wants to finish her mission, okay?!
