Rei has two people he hates with all his heart. One is a certain FBI agent who could have saved his childhood friend but stood by and did nothing. The other is Scotch, an Organization member who dragged his childhood friend into danger.
Later, the FBI agent's identity is exposed, and he leaves the Organization. After the death of Rei's childhood friend, Scotch also becomes rarely active within the Organization and disappears.
Rei can't find the FBI agent or Scotch, and he can't avenge his childhood friend with his own hands. This has always been one of his deepest regrets.
Until one day, he sees Scotch again at Poirot.
Scotch should be someone he hates to the core, but the moment Rei sees him, he inexplicably feels that Scotch's figure resembles his childhood friend.
Rei also notices that Scotch shares many traits with his childhood friend.
Rei is certain that Scotch is deliberately imitating him.
To avenge his childhood friend, Rei decides to get close to Scotch.
Yet the closer he gets, the more deeply he falls. After spending many days with Scotch, Rei is horrified to discover that he seems to have fallen for him.
But the person he's always loved should be his childhood friend, who is dead. How could he shamelessly fall in love with two people at once?
With the blood feud between him and his childhood friend's killer, and the divide between an Organization member and an undercover police officer, Rei knows that he and Scotch can never be together.
Then one day, Rei discovers a pine-green gemstone on Scotch. It glimmers with mysterious patterns, hanging from the waist of Scotch's kimono.
Rei has seen this gemstone on his childhood friend before. Back then, his friend had joked, "If I die unexpectedly, its light will fade, too."
But the pine-green gemstone on Scotch is still shining brightly, completely unharmed.
What's more, Rei hears rumors that his childhood friend and Scotch are caught in a tragic love affair.
So Rei suspects that his childhood friend isn't dead after all. Scotch has him in his possession.
When Rei confronts Scotch, the kimono-clad Organization member doesn't deny it. He simply points a sword at Rei. "Prove to me that you're more qualified than I am to save him."
Scotch admits that Rei's childhood friend is still alive.

Hiromitsu once happened to obtain an Anemo Vision, and learned about the future from a golden-haired traveler.
To keep the "Anemo boy curse" from affecting his friends, Hiromitsu resolutely decides to change "curses his friends" into "curses himself."
So he creates a secret identity and sends it into the Organization in his place.
But because the Heavenly Principles interfere, a series of coincidences leads Hiromitsu to successfully "kill" his real self.
He died, but he didn't quite die.
Only after waking up does he discover that his secret identity has become the greatest culprit in his real self's death.
Hiromitsu: "..." Fine. I'll kill myself.
To avoid the Heavenly Principles bringing his real self back to life, Hiromitsu decides to use his secret identity to approach his former friends and prove that he's still alive.
But
Hiromitsu is horrified: Why are they imagining some tragic romance between me and my secret identity?! Stop thinking! I just want to tell you I'm still alive!
To tell his childhood friend that he's alive, Hiromitsu deliberately uses Scotch's identity to show Rei the still-bright Vision.
Zero, look, my Vision hasn't gone dark. I'm still alive!
But when his childhood friend sees the Vision, he rushes over to interrogate the secret identity. "Where are you hiding him?"
Hiromitsu: "..." I'm not hiding him! I'm standing right in front of you!
I'm standing right in front of you, do I look like my old self.jpg
But how could this not count as a success?
At the golden-haired traveler's urging, Hiromitsu picks up the story they've imagined and says coldly to his childhood friend, "You can see him, but, "
"Prove to me that you're more qualified than I am to save him."
After much effort, Hiromitsu finally succeeds in bringing his real self back to life.
But before he can breathe a sigh of relief, his childhood friend delivers another bombshell. "Hiro, I'm sorry. I have to confess something to you. I've fallen in love with both you and Scotch."
Hiromitsu: "..."
Zero, is it possible that the two people you love are actually both me?
#Main pairing is Rei/Hiromitsu, but there's also a Hiromitsu/secret identity doppelganger storyline
#Lots of original settings. I wanted to write a melodrama, but it might not be all that dramatic
[I've already quit the original game. I don't want to catch up on the new Natlan storyline or change the settings again.
This will probably be a free novel, with slow updates.]
Theme: The free wind brings the hope of survival.
Ok, Wendy + Twin Chefs are here, and the first reaction is indeed the same - you three living a good life is more important than anything else. Jpg
Now the curse is not limited to Feng Men, but also Feng Women (Yuyou)
It's a pity that Teacher Chi has run away (bushi)
It's beautiful... Teacher, can you update another chapter in the next few days (Star Eyes)
I found it very interesting after reading the introduction. Please give the author a big boost?
