Fresh out of college, Lin Zichu inexplicably receives an invitation to work as a preschool teacher at a private kindergarten run by the Meng Cang Group.

Kid Number Three: "I'm a Feifei youngling. I'm 80 years old, and I'm very well-behaved."

Kid Number Four says timidly, "I'm a kitten youngling. I'm 35 years old."

Kid Number Five says proudly, "I'm a dragon youngling. I'm 100 years old."

At first, Lin Zichu thinks: Heh, heh. These kids sure have great imaginations.

Later, after learning the truth, Lin Zichu is moved to tears. So I'm the clown here.

After his worldview is shaken for the first time, Lin Zichu tries to quit, but the person in charge of the Meng Cang Group turns him down.

Unconvinced, Lin Zichu goes to demand an explanation.

Yin Chen, the person in charge: "Getting an invitation proves you're suited to this job. Have you ever considered that you might not be human?"

Lin Zichu: "You're the one who's not human! Your whole family isn't human!"

Yin Chen: "You're right. My whole family consists of just me, but I really am not human."

Lin Zichu's eyes widen in horror. Help!

Much later, Lin Zichu curls up in Yin Chen's arms and complains. He really isn't human after all. Sob, sob.

In the end, he not only loses his job, but is also sent to prison, while his two children are sent to an orphanage.

After awakening, An Xu kicks over a stool. "To hell with this! He's lived this long, so how could he not know what kind of person he is? Even without those five years of memories, he still knows exactly who he is."
