My Disciples Keep Trying to Defy Their Master

Ruan Dongbai spent half his life diligently running an academy. He was a rigid traditionalist who never stopped preaching benevolence, righteousness, propriety, and trustworthiness.

Unexpectedly, he accidentally swallowed poison one day and, through a twist of fate, ended up in modern society, where he became a university student.

As it happened, he ran into several familiar faces there...

Disciple No. 1 was a taciturn man of few words.

Yet on the very first day they reunited, he cornered him against a wall and said something Ruan Dongbai would never forget: "Why are you smiling like that? Trying to seduce someone?"

Disciple No. 2 was a carefree slacker who never took anything seriously.

Yet he won top marks in their department for him. "I did it. Go on a date with me."

Disciple No. 3 had once been the most well-behaved of all his disciples.

Yet he vowed to keep Ruan Dongbai hidden away like a treasure and was always acting like a wolf cub guarding its food. "A-Bai belongs to me alone. None of you are taking him!"

Ruan Dongbai: Y-you ungrateful disciples! What happened to respecting your teacher?

In ancient times, Ruan Dongbai devoted himself to studying the teachings of the sages, but his emotional intelligence was practically zero.

After his current roommate took a shower and stood in front of him bare-chested, Ruan Dongbai turned away in indignation and scolded him: "Have you no sense of decorum? What kind of behavior is this?"

When he learned his roommate was the campus bully, Ruan Dongbai let him push him around without daring to fight back, though he grumbled, "I may suffer this humiliation today, but one day I will have my revenge!"

Ruan Dongbai didn't understand why his roommate was always putting his hands on him, until he was pinned down on the bed and finally realized the truth.

His eyes went wide, and he asked in disbelief, "Y-you like men?"

His roommate grinned wickedly and planted a loud kiss on his cheek. "I don't like men. I like you."
