The story is complete. The next novel, *Hello, Could You Pick Up My Head for Me?*, opens on October 24!
Tang Yan transmigrates into a political intrigue novel and manages to survive to the end. When he returns home, he feels like he’s been reborn.
As soon as he gets home, he hears that he’s the fake young master. Everyone pities him, regrets what’s happened, and waits to laugh as this pretty little fool gets kicked out and ends up on the streets.
Tang Yan puts on a stern face and looks at them, scoffing. I’m not the same person I used to be.
I’m a cunning bully, ruthless and merciless!
When the real young master returns, Tang Yan decides to put him in his place and establish their family pecking order. This is the Thirty-Six Stratagems’ “Capture the Leader First”!
Seeing that the other guy is nearly six foot one, Tang Yan deliberately stands on the stairs by the doorway and looks down on him. “If you want to enter this house, you’ll have to follow my rules! From now on, I’m the superior one and you’re the inferior one. I’m the older one and you’re the younger one.”
Tang Yan pauses, then barks, “Call me big brother!”
Pei Juehan: …
Once the real young master moves in, Tang Yan starts tormenting and humiliating him. He orders him to do the laundry and cook, warm his feet and help him change, treating him like an ancient maidservant. This is the Thirty-Six Stratagems’ “Wait at Ease for the Exhausted Enemy”!
Tang Yan plants his bare feet on the other guy’s knee and tilts his head at him. “Got a problem with that?”
Pei Juehan: …
After enduring all the young master’s unbelievably “cruel” stratagems…
Pei Juehan smiles.
Pei Juehan once found a very beautiful little prince in the Cold Palace and kept him around for fun, but his little highness was simply too stupid.
He became a hidden guard to keep him safe, but nearly let someone else trick him away.
He became his tutor and taught him how to read people, only for the boy to get caught up in the struggle for the throne, isolated and with no one to rely on.
He became regent, planning to protect the little fool for the rest of his life, but the other boy left as soon as he wanted to.
He spent an entire lifetime searching for him and died with regrets. When he opened his eyes again, he saw his little highness standing on the stairs, brazen and carefree, saying to him…
“Call me big brother.”
Step by step, he coaxes his foolish little highness into his arms and pins him beneath him. “Is this how I taught you to use what I taught you?”
Tang Yan looks at the familiar figure before him and bursts into tears. He presses close and kisses him to appease him. “Th-then teach me again…”
P.S.
① The seme is a total madman, but he has never hurt, and absolutely will never hurt, the shou, past, present, or future.
② The reason the seme is so crazy, how he changes, and what he’s fixated on will all be explained later. The story is all about treating the illness with the right medicine.
③ [Important: The characters aren’t perfect. At heart, this is a story about a pretty bad boy getting disciplined, plus a story about training a dog. (Though I don’t think the shou is all that bad. He’s just scared, and that will be explained later.)]
④ A pampered, beautiful, foolish, universally adored shou who thinks he has eight hundred tricks up his sleeve × a loyal dog of a seme, a huge fool who kept protecting his fool of a wife throughout a political intrigue novel, only for his wife to transmigrate back to the real world (so he’s just a tiny bit crazy)

*Hello, Could You Pick Up My Head for Me?*
Mu Mu is a ghost of indeterminate age who finds himself a body: a little skeleton.
Overjoyed to finally be able to touch things, Mu Mu carefully avoids humans and spends his time doing what he likes.
He likes the sound of rain hitting his body, so he goes out to the balcony every day.
He also likes soft cotton, so he sneaks into stuffed animals and rolls around inside them.
But most of all, he likes watching a very handsome homeowner write and paint.
.
Though it’s still hard to make friends, he’s already very satisfied with this life!
Fu Heqing is a staunch materialist. Lately, aside from constantly finding discarded skeleton toys, he hasn’t noticed anything unusual. It’s only after one servant after another quits that he finally realizes there’s a little something in the house.
A window mysteriously opening on a rainy day, a teddy bear moving in the middle of the night, the feeling of being watched in the study…
Just as he’s about to call the police, a skeleton’s head rolls to his feet.
Then a timid voice comes from behind the bookcase…
“H-hello, um, could you pick up my head for me…?”
“I think I’m stuck QAQ”
Fu Heqing’s usually expressionless face slowly cracks. _
The Novel After That
*The Lazy Little Zombie Doesn’t Want People Chasing Him*
Xian Yi is a pampered, lazy, beautiful young master who never passes his fitness tests. Who could have guessed that the apocalypse would break out and a zombie crisis would begin?
Xian Yi doesn’t want to live a hard life, and he doesn’t want to spend every day running a thousand meters while zombies chase him. So he cuts his finger with a small knife, smears on a little zombie saliva, and lies in bed waiting to turn.
He closes and opens his eyes. He’s turned, but unfortunately, he’s still conscious!
The good news: He doesn’t have to run a thousand meters with zombies chasing him anymore!
The bad news: Humans will chase him for a thousand meters instead…
And so he begins his fence-sitting career.
When the zombies have the upper hand, Xian Yi follows behind the high-ranking zombies, picking and choosing whatever he can find to eat.
He picks up a clean apple someone left behind and looks up at the giant zombie ahead of him. “You don’t want this? Then I’ll eat it!”
The Zombie Emperor, who hasn’t evolved the ability to speak, moves stiffly and carefully touches Xian Yi’s hand, then places all the fruit he found in Xian Yi’s arms.
When humans show up, Xian Yi disguises himself as one of them and follows their strongest fighter, picking and choosing whatever he can find to eat.
Wearing a hood, he squats beside a human grilling meat and stares at the man’s neck, drooling as he bargains. “Can I bite you once?”
The human is just about to yell at this freeloader who’s always mooching off him, but then he sees the pretty face beneath the hood and pauses, handing over the entire piece of roasted meat.
With a pretty face like his, Xian Yi really does manage to “get by” with ease.
The good news: This human says he’ll take care of him forever.
The bad news: That Zombie Emperor is still looking for him, too.
After his cover is blown, Xian Yi grabs a train and runs a thousand meters through the night. He’s completely exhausted.
He falls into the arms of the strongest human. Across from them, the Zombie Emperor’s eyes turn crimson in an instant. In a hoarse voice, he says, “Come over here. We’re the same kind.”
The strongest human chuckles and holds him even tighter. “I’ve already let you bite me. Don’t you think you should take responsibility?”
It’s just a love triangle. No big deal, don’t panic.
Xian Yi slowly lies back down. He’ll let them sort it out themselves.
