A First Confession in Summer

[Free short story, not contracted]

Help!

The first time I played an immersive murder mystery game with my crush, we ran into a "supernatural" incident.

Now we're trapped inside and can't get out. SOS

The staff said that only Ning Chu knew the password to open the castle gates.

"Who designed this ridiculous mechanism?!"

"The author."

"Who's the author?"

"Xia Ji."

"...I'm Ning Chu," I interrupted their heated exchange in a flat voice.

But I don't even know Xia Ji!

I received Xia Ji's confession.

In the summer, three years after he died.

In murder mystery games, there's a type of scenario called a "city-exclusive scenario," meaning only three venues in each city can sell it. Ning Chu later learned there was another kind, a "person-exclusive scenario." Xia Ji had created it just for her. There was only one copy in all the worlds, and no one but Ning Chu could solve it.
