After watching the Conan story where he grows up in London, with the Queen of the Grass Courts, Minerva Glass, and seeing tennis pop up in Detective Conan now and then, I decided to put a few Prince of Tennis characters into Conan's world. I'd also seen plenty of magic-themed stories, which made me think of Masaharu. What if Hajime Mizuki had a younger brother named Mikan? Shuichiro Fuji and Masaharu Niou know Conan is a character from a manga, and they retain their memories.
Mikan Mizuki
Ran Mouri: "Mikan Mizuki. I think I've seen that name at Mom's office."
Conan: "Attorney Fei? At her firm?"
Mikan: "That's right. Attorney Fei and I are rivals."
Ran: "Huh? You and Mom?"
Mikan: "Don't worry, I specialize in financial disputes. Besides, she's Attorney Fei! She's never lost a case in her career."
Hajime Mizuki
Conan: "You seem familiar, Mr. Mizuki."
Hajime Mizuki: "Hmm. I remember Conan is a distant relative of Shinichi Kudo. Perhaps you saw me at Yusaku Kudo's place."
Ran Mouri: "Huh? You know Shinichi's father?"
Hajime Mizuki: "I'm Professor Yusaku Kudo's editor."
Masaharu Niou
Taketora Doi: "How did you know it was me? Are you my dad's senior disciple?"
Masaharu: "As if." Disguising myself is something I did in my previous life. You're still an amateur. "Kaito Kid, aren't you going to run? That little detective will be here any minute."
Kaito watches a magic show with Masaharu: "They say you've run out of tricks. Is it true?"
Masaharu: "What do you think? Doesn't every performance leave them amazed?" Too much danger would only make Mikan worry.
Shuichiro Fuji
Reporter: "Everyone says Shinichi Kudo is the Sherlock Holmes of the Heisei era and has replaced you. What do you have to say?"
Shuichiro: "It's every citizen's duty to assist the police with their investigations. The police are the people's faith." Maybe I should write a novel. Hajime is working on Professor Yusaku Kudo's new book now, so he hardly spends time with me anymore. At least someone can handle the cases now, or I'd have even less time with Hajime.
Fuji isn't unemployed, he just does a bit of everything. Sometimes he enters photography competitions, works as a reporter, competes in tennis tournaments, does programming, or sells software. Here's a little secret: Fuji also helped develop Cocoon. Usually, he helps the police catch criminals.
