The Cat-tastic World of Detective Conan

In a strange parallel universe, a fairy-tale kingdom full of fantasy came into being: a world where everyone is part cat.

There is no sadness, no pain, and no parting that separates people forever.

[Scene One]

"Matsuda! Your ears are showing!"

Hagiwara Kenji reached out and rubbed the cat ears on his childhood friend's head. They looked so soft to the touch that he couldn't help praising them silently: 'That's Matsuda for you! His ears are so soft and warm!'

"Get your hands off me!"

Matsuda Jinpei pushed away his childhood friend, who had ambushed him, and muttered irritably, "You know my ears are sensitive, but you still have to touch them."

With his cat ears being rubbed, Matsuda Jinpei felt strange and gave them a shake, but he still couldn't get rid of that warm, slightly damp sensation. His normally upright ears drooped back like airplane wings.

Then, under Hagiwara Kenji's focused gaze, those beautiful cat ears twitched.

"!!!"

Kenji-chan's heart... had been struck by Cupid's arrow!

[Scene Two]

"Meow, meow..."

"Aaaah! You're so noisy!"

Matsuda Jinpei covered his ears and yelled angrily at Morofushi Hiromitsu, who was standing nearby with an exceptionally gentle smile.

"Don't just stand there watching! Hurry up and comfort your childhood friend! He's so noisy!"

"But... Zero is so cute when he's jealous!"

Warnings and things to note:

1. This leans more toward serious drama, and isn't entirely focused on romance.

2. For the sake of the plot, the point of view won't always focus on HagiMatsu.

3. This fanfic may have some degree of OOC. If you don't like that, please don't read.

4. I don't like writing instructions, and this isn't a custom commission, so it definitely won't suit everyone's tastes. Once again, if you don't like it, please don't read.

5. I often use comment filters. If a comment contains a filtered word, I won't be able to see it.

6. If you find the story isn't to your liking, please stop reading right away.

7. If you drop the story, there's no need to leave a comment to let me know.

8. I'll save them... ummm, well, it's not really saving them. Anyway, for the sake of the plot, the Police Academy crew will survive.

9. That's all for now. I'll add more if I think of anything.

Couple: HagiMatsu
