The Wealthy Family’s Stepmom Goes Viral for Slacking Off on a Parenting Show

Ming Yaoqing woke up after a car accident and found herself in a book.

She became the stepmother of a three-and-a-half-year-old child, and the contrast character to the female lead of a parenting variety show.

The female lead: gentle and virtuous, with excellent cooking skills.

Ming Yaoqing: a maker of culinary disasters, a kitchen menace, and a master of bad temper.

The three-and-a-half-year-old was also edited into the show's poster child for little brats. Mother and child were mocked across the internet and left the entertainment industry in disgrace.

Ming Yaoqing: Thanks for asking. I'm not saving anyone. I'm giving up.

The variety show began filming without warning. While Ming Yaoqing was still lost in a sweet dream, the three-and-a-half-year-old was already dressed in a little suit, supervising the chef as he cooked.

Production crew: What happened to the promised little brat?

Comments: What a well-behaved kid! Let Auntie give you a kiss~

When faced with a challenge, the kid was determined to win, but Ming Yaoqing grabbed him by the straps of his overalls and started giving up.

The female lead of the parenting show was sweating buckets, while Ming Yaoqing lounged on a beach chair and sipped a drink.

The female lead's child ran around on little legs, while the three-and-a-half-year-old peeled a tangerine for his mom.

To make sure her child got a balanced diet, the female lead showed off 108 cooking techniques and gently coaxed him to eat.

Ming Yaoqing bought her kid a toy kitchen set and had him make her lunch.

The comments went wild: What a well-behaved kid! Auntie's going to steal him!

The little one leaned toward the camera and said solemnly, "Nope. I'm Mom's guardian now."

Ming Yaoqing and her child unexpectedly became famous.

To boost viewership, the production team arranged for Ming Yaoqing to take part in a truth-or-dare challenge.

"Is the child's father someone in the entertainment industry? Would you invite him on the show someday?"

Ming Yaoqing pinched her thigh and teared up. "Actually, the child's father... he's gone."

Fu Yao: I'm not dead! I'm alive!
