[The new book next door is now underway]
My Bro Became My Husband
First-person, gong's perspective. The author considers themself neutral.
“Rational and gentle” gong × kind, unlucky shou
The gong rises from a supporting role, and the shou's [almost-ex-partner] cheats.
Neither the gong nor the shou is sexually inexperienced. Nothing beyond Jinjiang's content limits happens while they're underage.
Blurb
I once had a very good friend. We played in the mud under a tree together and slept on the same heated earthen bed.
He once saved my life.
I wasn't good at school, but he was an excellent student.
He dropped out so his younger sister could go to school. I racked my brains at home trying to keep him from dropping out, and in the end, we both got into the county's top high school.
We helped and supported each other. I thought we'd go to a top university together, but he came down with a fever during the college entrance exams and did terribly. I wanted to take a year off and retake the exams with him, but he told me to go to university first.
When I came home after my first year, he had a beloved man, ten years older than him, who had a son from a previous marriage.
He said he loved him. He said he wanted to support him.
Ten more years passed. I got lucky and made a name for myself, but I couldn't find him at the welcome-home banquet held in my honor.
Drunk, I followed the liquor's courage to the secret place we used to share. There I found him squatting on the ground, smoking cheap tobacco from a dry pipe
I had no choice but to call his name. He turned to look at me. At first, his eyes were full of delight, but that soon turned to unease. Finally, his lips moved and he called me, “Mr. Xu.”
It was a late-summer night, but I felt as though I'd fallen into an icy cellar.
The author is updating the book next door [irregularly]
A Carefree Layabout's Search for a Husband After Transmigrating
A lazy, aimless, down-on-his-luck transmigrated dentist gong × a shou who seems like a refined gentleman but is actually cruel and sinister, seemingly a normal person but actually a eunuch
Enters VIP on October 12
Qiao Yisheng × Situ Feng
Qiao Yisheng was all alone. A dentist at a top-tier hospital, he saved an emergency room doctor from the same hospital, but ended up transmigrating to an imaginary ancient era, where he became the legitimate second son of the Imperial Academy of Medicine's director.
Qiao Yisheng was born into this world and gradually recovered his memories, then eagerly settled into life as a layabout.
One day, he saved a young man having a heart attack by the roadside. The boy's older brother, Situ Feng, came to thank him. He was a refined gentleman and Qiao Yisheng's ideal type.
Qiao Yisheng gave Situ Feng the first tube of toothpaste he'd made, and Situ Feng gave him a dagger in return.
They grew closer and closer. Society was open-minded at the time, and men could marry each other.
Qiao Yisheng gathered his courage and asked Situ Feng if he wanted to be with him, but Situ Feng flatly refused.
Qiao Yisheng fell gravely ill. While sick, he suddenly remembered that he had transmigrated into a book he'd only read halfway through, and that Situ Feng was a supporting character who would soon be framed and imprisoned.
Qiao Yisheng used his medical skills to save lives and clear Situ Feng's name.
But Situ Feng avoided him, so Qiao Yisheng chased him while Situ Feng ran away, and every day was a chaotic mess.
After an accident, Qiao Yisheng finally learned Situ Feng's secret.
He said honestly that he didn't mind, and the two finally made up and became engaged.
But beneath the peaceful surface, undercurrents were swirling. The court was in turmoil, and the balance of power kept shifting.
Qiao Yisheng finally realized that the person by his side was not the refined gentleman he appeared to be.
Qiao Yisheng had spent both his lives saving people. He couldn't understand why anyone would be so devious.
So once again, one of them ran while the other chased. But when danger struck, Qiao Yisheng still chose to put himself in front of Situ Feng.
He loved Situ Feng's refined, elegant side, but he also felt for him when he was gloomy and unhappy.
At last, the wheels of the story shifted in a new direction.
This book's blurb
[Complete]
Cultured, ambitious, former businessman turned actor gong × long-suffering, hardworking, former businessman turned prince shou
Gu Enze × Du Kang
Angsty and bittersweet, with lots of entertainment-industry elements and a little business intrigue.
The gong was a bit of a chuunibyou as a teenager. Both gong and shou are at least eighteen when they meet.
Blurb:
In the interstellar era, the entertainment industry is full of beautiful people, but there are few truly stunning ones.
Gu Enze's face is the best calling card there is.
He became a sensation in his early thirties, attracting a huge following of men and women, young and old alike.
Rumors and gossip spread through the industry, and fans of various pairings fought tooth and nail, until one day an old photo began circulating online.
In the photo, Gu Enze had long platinum-blond hair and sat primly in a high-backed chair, but he was touching the face of a young man in a T-shirt from a famous university's anniversary celebration with his black-painted fingernails.
The young man had a long buzz cut, which did nothing to detract from his looks. He was handsome, like King Apollo from an ancient Greek fairy tale.
Someone tagged Gu Enze and asked who the young man was. They assumed they wouldn't get an answer, but Gu Enze actually posted a message on Starblog, just four simple words.
“My ex-husband.”
A few months later, Gu Enze reposted the message with five more words.
“We got married again.”
The Star Network nearly crashed.

Title: How Could That Be Impossible? [School] by Chu Huaishan
Yue Linkai, a troublemaker from the branch school, transfers to the main campus. His new class is the best in North City No. 2 High School: the Star Class.
When the homeroom teacher brings him into the classroom, everyone is fooled by Yue Linkai's ridiculously alluring face.
His arrival immediately lowers the Star Class's overall rating. Nobody knows how he managed to transfer in.
Some say he has a cleanliness obsession...
Others say he's into men.
On his first day at the new school, Yue Linkai gets into a fight. He looks at Meng Yan with a bloodied face, like a delinquent straight out of a movie.
Meng Yan had thought he was a hopeless problem student. The homeroom teacher assigns him to keep an eye on Yue Linkai and serve as his one-on-one support partner, so Yue Linkai won't hurt the Star Class's chances of being named the city's best class.
During study hall, Yue Linkai deliberately walks over with a book and leans close to his ear. “Class rep, I don't understand this problem. Could you explain it to me one-on-one? I'll pay you.”
To avoid disturbing the other students, Meng Yan takes Yue Linkai to the science lab to explain the problem.
Yue Linkai deliberately turns off the lights, touches the faint mole behind Meng Yan's ear, and gazes at him like a wicked beast.
“How about I reward you with this campus heartthrob's first kiss?”
Meng Yan grips the wall and slowly sinks down, his ears turning red.
With Meng Yan's help, Yue Linkai's grades improve by leaps and bounds.
At the school basketball tournament, Yue Linkai buys a new pair of sneakers. When it's time for the game, he personally takes Meng Yan to the locker room, crouches in front of him, and puts the new shoes on his feet.
Under the lights, Yue Linkai takes Meng Yan to a grove and gently bites the tip of his ear. “When you graduate, we'll live together, go to class together, come home together... and sleep together?”
Meng Yan curls up, his eyes and ears bright red. He kisses the corner of Yue Linkai's eye and nods.
Before Yue Linkai joined Class Four, he was a cold-blooded beast prowling through the jungle.
No one had ever treated him seriously, from childhood to adulthood. Everyone saw him as a freak, a toy, or a piece of trash.
Little by little, he decided that maybe it wasn't so bad.
The day he transferred to No. 2 High School, Meng Yan was the first person in his life to make him stop.
Meng Yan warned him, “Don't bring your game console to school again. If you do, I'll tell your parents.”
Yue Linkai laughed. His parents? They were probably busy watching the stock market.
Or... taking business trips to some scenic mountain retreat?
One day, he saw Meng Yan on the basketball court and felt that he was the light of his life.
Meng Yan made him see hope.
Maybe... he ought to hold tightly to that glimmer of hope.
At the graduation ceremony, Yue Linkai lowered his head and kissed Meng Yan on the tip of his nose. “From now on, you're mine.”
Flirtatious campus heartthrob who pretends to be a poor student gong × aloof top student, cold on the outside and warm on the inside shou
Moral: No matter what difficulties you face, stay positive and work hard. One day, you'll welcome a bright future.
Du Kang is so lucky... He has been immersed in pursuing fame and fortune for so long and is still waiting for his lover...
The ending felt very rushed. I just felt that Gong no longer loved me and was just used to it... The betrayal I suffered will always stick there like a thorn.
I once again saw Teacher An's unique feeling of being calm and yet wanting to go crazy amidst the tugging...
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh really didn't cut off the Tsuna? It feels like a big part of it is missing. It's so uncomfortable to watch. Damn it, extra Mo Do Mo Do Mo Do.
I feel like the ending is pretty good, because Gu is happier with Du. But Gu didn't completely forgive Du. There was a rift in the relationship. I always felt that a broken mirror couldn't be reunited, and even if it was repaired, it wouldn't be that strong. Not a perfect ending, but more satisfying than a perfect ending.
Extra... Extra...
What a hasty ending. Although I knew it would happen, the ending was too hasty.
This familiar feeling makes me always wonder if a broken mirror can really be reunited? As long as you break that shell yourself, there seems to be nothing wrong with it? Humans are so complex and capricious, right?
I hope that something happy will happen to you every day.
Hey, if either party doesn't go as they want in the ending and feels wronged, it will make everyone watching feel uncomfortable. Why should we be together? Maybe loneliness requires courage.
How can I put it... I have been chasing Tiantian all the way, from CP to JJ, and I have read all the articles on mackerel before. This is Tiantian's first novel that I abandoned halfway through. Compared with the previous articles, it is a little less sour and refreshing. It feels like it has changed but also feels the same. It is very complicated and I don't know what to say. Still looking forward to Tiantian's next novel!
