After Transmigrating Into a Book, the Supporting Actress Became Famous in the Entertainment Industry

[Just a provisional blurb for now... I haven't decided exactly what to write yet, and the premise may change at any time, but the female supporting character and entertainment industry setting are staying.]

Shen Zhiyi transmigrated into a romance novel set in the entertainment industry, becoming the unlucky female supporting character.

The original Shen Zhiyi was a top screenwriter with a bright future, but her obsession with romance led to her being framed by a rival, betrayed by her boyfriend, and even driven off the set by the director. In the end, she died in disgrace and despair.

After transmigrating into the book, Shen Zhiyi was done with all that.

To hell with being love-struck! I'm going to focus on myself!

At a casting meeting, the popular young actor who would one day become her boyfriend flirted with Shen Zhiyi in front of everyone.

Shen Zhiyi ignored him, then overruled the objections around her and specifically chose a newcomer named Pei Xin to play the male lead.

In the original story, Pei Xin was just another background character, much like her.

Despite his exceptional talent and explosive acting skills, he refused to submit to the unspoken rules and offended a powerful figure, nearly getting himself blacklisted.

Seeing surprise cross Pei Xin's icy face, Shen Zhiyi declared with confidence, "Trust me. You're going to be a star tomorrow."

She didn't notice the look in Pei Xin's eyes suddenly grow warmer.

After teaming up with Pei Xin, Shen Zhiyi took down scumbags and nasty women, focused on her career, and finally turned her fortunes around. She escaped the original character's fate and reached the top of her game.

On the night of their triumph, she and Pei Xin both won Best Screenwriter and Best Actor, becoming the center of attention.

Reporter: "Fans say you bring out the best in each other and make the perfect team. What do you think of your relationship?"

Shen Zhiyi: "We're just ordinary friends."

At the celebration banquet, while no one was looking, Pei Xin cornered the tipsy Shen Zhiyi in the stairwell.

He pinned her to the wall, his breath suddenly close and full of menace. "Just ordinary friends? You use me and then dump me?"

Shen Zhiyi reached up to smooth his furrowed brow and teased, "So what do you want?"

Pei Xin gritted his teeth by her ear. "Make our relationship public. Right now."
