The □□ Boss Wants to Retire

Shirono Ayako, the current boss of the Port Mafia, age 20.

She wants to marry a good person, using that as an excuse to retire with honors.

Then she can dump all the Mafia's annoying work on Mori Ogai.

After that, she'll join the Armed Detective Agency and seek refuge with her half-brother, Edogawa Ranpo.

She's got the whole plan worked out. The only problem is that there aren't any good people in Yokohama, except maybe her meal buddy Oda and her drinking buddy Chuuya.

While dodging work and heading to Tokyo on a business trip with her executive Chuuya, she unexpectedly rescues a cat-eyed man trapped in a burning building after an explosion. She does it because she wants to marry a good person and retire with honors.

Hmm... Is he a police academy student? Whatever, he must be a good person! Maybe he's worth considering~

But before they can even start dating, she suddenly can't get in touch with him. She thinks she'll try her luck with another police academy student, but some time later, she runs into him again. Only this time, he's an undercover agent sent by the distillery to infiltrate the Port Mafia.

Shirono Ayako, pupils shaking with shock: So does my plan to marry a good person and retire smoothly still have a chance, or is it ruined...?

Hiro, conflicted: So the person who saved me was the Port Mafia boss, and I used to be a police academy student but am now an undercover agent in the black-clad organization, sent here to infiltrate the Mafia... and she figured me out in a second.

1. The heroine's background will be briefly explained in the story. For the full version, see the Edogawa Ayako IF story in my series. Ayako is pronounced Ayako in Japanese.

2. It won't be too long. We'll just rescue the police academy group and take down the distillery.

3. The love interest is the cat-eyed Hiro from the blurb.

Theme: When brains or brute force can't solve a problem, use supernatural abilities
