The Real and Fake Heiresses

Could there really be two people in the world who look exactly alike?

Dolly had always scoffed at the idea, until she casually rescued a young lady from being hit by a carriage in the street.

Domina Kate Leolovos, the youngest daughter of Marquis Orulum, is a quiet and graceful noblewoman who couldn't bear to step on even an ant.

With her makeup off, Dolly standing beside her is just like looking in a mirror. They look more like sisters than real sisters do.

But aside from their faces, the noble heiress about to inherit the marquisate and the circus knife-throwing clown have nothing in common. Their lives would never have crossed again...

Yet on the seventh day after they met, a fire broke out in an overlooked slum, leaving one dead and one injured.

A circus understudy died in a shabby rented room. The noble heiress narrowly survived.

As the second son of Duke Sayedri and the king's own nephew, Xienuo is handsome, wealthy, and powerful. His life is smooth sailing, without a single ripple.

Smooth sailing = mind-numbingly boring.

For Xienuo, boredom is more deadly than poison.

Just then, he met a little con artist with holes in her story everywhere.

Her tricks were so amateurish that she gave herself away without him needing to probe much.

To bring a little fun to his boring life, Xienuo decided to cover for her.

After all, the most interesting things are the ones you save for the very end, right?

1. I'll leave this here for now. The sample is in So Strange (outdated now, so I'll probably rewrite it).

2. It won't be long. A suspenseful plot with a little sweetness sprinkled on top, probably a short story just over 100,000 characters.
