Ning Cihe died.
A recent college graduate and walking disaster, she was hit by a car and sent to the ancient past. For some reason, she also got a System. This shoddy product told her that if she couldn’t obtain jealousy points, they would all be done for.
The catch was, what exactly were jealousy points?
As it turned out, the body she’d entered belonged to someone also named Ning Cihe, a bodyguard to a proud young lady. She had no parents, and after her master taught her martial arts, he passed away. The young lady did nothing but look down on her.
A sensitive girl, she’d spent her whole life without anyone caring about her, and died with deep regrets, struck down by a blade meant for her young lady.
The original Ning Cihe’s life was so miserable that the new Ning Cihe clicked her tongue in sympathy. But the System told her that without jealousy points, her fate would be even worse.
Desperate not to die, Ning Cihe tried making the young lady cabbage in vinegar sauce, tofu mixed with century eggs and vinegar, and even pinching her cheeks and pouring vinegar straight into her mouth...
None of it worked.
The young lady didn’t like her, so how could she get jealous?
Feeling she was about to die all over again, Ning Cihe gave up and confessed to a cool, aloof female tutor at the academy, whom she rather liked. By that evening, the news had spread far and wide, and the System flashed red as it announced that her jealousy points were soaring.
When she returned to the residence, she found the young lady crying and asking her father to dismiss the female tutor from the academy. The young lady glared at her like a red-eyed rabbit, and the jealousy points shot up.

The first time Yu Wangyue woke up, she was in a director’s home. Apparently, she’d been found in the desert with nothing in her pocket but an ID card that proved her name. After living with the director for a month, she felt bad about imposing and joined the director’s variety show, Gazing at the Stars. The contestants had to hike through deserts and snowy mountains. There she met Xie Yi, a woman who made her heart race at first sight.
The cool-faced woman shook her hand, and a voice suddenly appeared in Yu Wangyue’s mind: “You absolutely must not let her fall in love.” Why?
The amnesiac seemed to have acquired the ability to tell fortunes. If she wanted to know something, she only had to close her eyes and concentrate to learn the answer. So Yu Wangyue told Xie Yi that she would meet with disaster if she fell in love, and hoped she’d take it seriously. The woman dismissed her as a charlatan and took an instant dislike to her.
Over the next month, many things happened, and Xie Yi finally believed that Yu Wangyue could tell fortunes. She’d even made a bet with Yu Wangyue because she hadn’t believed her, and now owed her three favors. Xie Yi had worried the girl might ask for some kind of unacceptable intimate contact, but instead she heard a gentle voice say:
“First favor: stop sulking at me, and have some candy, okay?”
“Second favor: I’ll lead the group tomorrow. You can stay back and rest for a while.”
Gradually, Xie Yi found herself falling for this selfless kindness. She was about to forget the woman she’d loved for years, her unattainable first love, when Yu Wangyue, who she’d thought liked her, pushed away her embrace and said in a calm, restrained voice, “For the third favor, after filming of Gazing at the Stars ends, let’s never contact each other again.”
The pain was finer and sharper than losing her first love, piercing the heart she’d always kept locked away, one prick at a time. The cool, distant face that had always seemed untouchable crumpled. Shaking her head, Xie Yi backed away, wanting for the first time to break her word.

"Hey, Ning Cihe, what are you looking at?" The scroll in her hand was snatched away by the eldest lady. The girl's soft and charming voice read: ""After Wearing Books and Becoming the Second Male Number", what is it?" Ning Cihe smiled helplessly, "Our author's new book is about the seventh son of the Prime Minister's Mansion, and the second lady of the Prime Minister's Mansion is the subject. Forget about the pseudo-orthopedics, the subject is still the wife of Gong. It really pokes my xp." Crossing her arms in anger, the eldest lady snorted coldly, "Can't you forget Master Xie?" Who would have thought that this could be misunderstood, Ning Cihe hurried forward and hugged the jealous eldest lady, and kissed the corner of her lips soothingly, "How could it be, I only love you."
Very good, the eldest lady has not had enough.
Isn't it said that martial arts are very powerful? Why are you still so useless after all this time?
It's super awesome. It would be perfect if there's a side story.
The author is great, I want to read the story of Ning Yu and the Queen
I also like it, the flowers are sprinkled at the end!
The ending feels a bit too rushed
I thought it was good, but I didn't consider Mr. Xie at all.
Looks good!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Watching it, it suddenly ended (T_T)
