Sea Breeze and Evening Stars [Hanbai]

Everything begins when you walk into a bar called "See Breeze."

Female leads:

1. Mina: Childhood friend

Everyone who knows her thinks she's cool and elegant. She has ten years of ballet experience, so every gesture is imbued with the air of a young aristocratic lady. But only you know that Mina is really childish. She often acts goofy, and she's very bking. She always makes you laugh when you're at your lowest.

Born into a family of doctors, she chose to specialize in anesthesiology at university. For the first time in eighteen years, the two of you went your separate ways, and this time you discovered the secret she had hidden deepest.

In an old, long-sealed diary, the slightly childish handwriting carefully recorded each stroke: "She smiled at someone else again. I don't like it. Don't smile at other people."

2. Minatozaki Sana: Unexpected encounter

This bartender you met by chance at the bar seems very interested in you. She's full of secrets, yet strikingly gorgeous, with a beguiling charm in her eyes and a sweet, syrupy voice. Even when she's speaking seriously, she sounds like she's flirting.

But it seems she's only suited to making the first move. The moment you fight back, Miss Minatozaki turns red from her ears to her neck, going from a fox to a Shiba Inu in an instant, and not just any dog, but one that only knows how to wag its tail at you.

But you could never have imagined that your meeting and growing closeness with Minatozaki Sana were both deliberate and full of lies.

3. Bae Joohyun: Teacher

You were lucky to meet an incredibly kind academic advisor when you started university. While everyone else has to jump through hoops to get permission to leave campus, all you have to do is act cute for Bae Joohyun.

But after knowing her for two years, you've noticed that her smile has become visibly rarer. It's been replaced by anxiety and frustration. Even though she tries her best not to show it in front of you, she secretly cries in her office.

4. Kang Hyewon: Student

After finishing your college entrance exams, you confidently announced that you'd make your first pot of money by tutoring while the material was still fresh in your mind. So your mother recommended you to the daughter of a relative or friend.

When you first met Kang Hyewon, her room was completely dark. You pulled open the curtains without asking and met a pair of beautiful but dim eyes. Only later did you learn that this older girl suffered from severe mental illness and had been on leave from school for two years.

For a whole year, you presented yourself as a silly little ball of sunshine and finally grew closer to her. But why did a chill run down your back when you saw that smiling freshman representative at the welcome ceremony in your second year?

5. Im Nayeon: Senior

She's a genius composer you heard about even before you enrolled. Her song "MEEEEEE" topped both the rising new songs chart and the most popular songs of the year chart. You admire her and practically consider her your idol.

But when you step into your new dorm and see Im Nayeon smiling at you with bunny teeth, her sleep mask still hanging halfway over her face on the top bunk, you realize she's just a very cute girl in her early twenties.

6. Jang Wonyoung: Entertainer

You met this huge star while taking part in an off-campus event with your senior. Before meeting her, you happened to see quite a few hate posts claiming she was arrogant and looked down on everyone. After getting to know her, you found out that they were fake reports put out by her company to pressure her into renewing her contract.

This girl, two years younger than you, speaks very directly and works with great efficiency. Her taste in music is almost exactly the same as yours. You were thrilled, thinking you'd found a kindred spirit, but failed to notice the growing interest in Jang Wonyoung's eyes.

7. Kim Jisoo: Older sister

She's said to be your half-sister, sharing the same mother. When you were young, she took good care of you and Mina, but in your senior year of high school she chose to leave with her biological father, and you lost contact with her completely.

You meet again at the entertainment agency where you're doing your internship. Unable to hold back, you slap the sticky note she deliberately left in an empty room onto the table and ask, "What do you mean, you like me, so you can't stay by my side?"

(They are not blood-related. The reason will be explained in the story.)

8. Hirai Momo: Friend

She's a friend who studies dance, whom you met at a training camp during your senior year of high school. You never expected to meet again at the arts university.

On nearly every holiday and special occasion, both of you have to represent your respective majors on stage. Her choreography always suits your compositions perfectly, and people call you the ultimate dream team.

But Hirai Momo is completely different in private from how she is on stage. She's always a little dazed and seems to agree to anything you suggest.
