The Heartthrobs Are Fighting Over Me

[Important notice] The blurb is a sweet little treat, but the early part of the main story isn't sweet! It only gets sweet after Chapter 15! When Kenji was at the police academy, a girl he had never met kept appearing in his dreams. At first, the girl stared at him in confusion. When she came to her senses, she circled him excitedly, clasping her hands to her cheeks. "Kenji, I love you!" When he woke up, Kenji was completely baffled. Who was this girl? How did she know his name? Why did she like him? Every night, he would dream about the girl. "Kenji, can I kiss you?" "Kenji, let's get married." "Sure, sure. Once you wake up, we'll get married." Kenji always answered casually. She was just someone from his dreams, after all. Later, he joined the Metropolitan Police Department and rose through the ranks to become a team leader. But the girl suddenly stopped appearing in his dreams. Irritable and restless, he headed to work. As he passed through Mihua Street, he saw the girl who had grabbed him and passionately confessed her love in his dreams, standing across the street and on a date with another guy. ...? Kenji, so angry he ran across the street: "Didn't you say you loved me most?! Who's that guy?!" Girl: ? Girl: What the hell is this cosplayer? Incredible. He looks like he walked straight out of a manga. - Pairing: Kenji, 1v1 *The girl clearly distinguishes between the fictional and real worlds. At the start of the story, her love for Kenji is confined to the fictional world, so there will be a plotline where he pursues her and gets rejected. *Mihua City is also translated as Mihua District, Mihua Town, and so on. This story consistently uses Mihua City. *Kenji only appears for a few minutes in the anime, and in the movie they gave me nothing but a grave. When I write him, I can't avoid including my own interpretation of him. Don't compare my story to someone else's and then accuse me of writing him out of character. *The Police Academy group all get saved, through their own efforts. The girl only provides information and doesn't take part in the rescue. *I'm firmly committed to Shinichi and Ran. They might not appear in the story, but I won't break them up. Theme: Love must not become an obstacle to personal growth
