The Male Guest Is Always Flirting with Me

[Thank you, dear readers, for supporting the official version. I look forward to meeting you again next time. Sending love!]

During the off-season, Team Jiang's manager tricks him into joining a dating show. Faced with interactive tasks overflowing with romantic vibes, Team Jiang, who has no interest in worldly desires, sticks to his plan of being a background extra to the end. He suggests pairing up with the second male guest, who already has someone he likes, so they can be each other's dating-show tools.

But...

He was supposed to bring the show some early buzz and traffic, then bow out once the first half of the group stay was over. So why are the fans shipping him with the second male guest celebrating every day, flooding the screen with sweet moments?

A straight guy is confused. A straight guy is baffled--

The second male guest is a gentleman, a refined and decent guy. Ever since he came out, the two of them have kept their distance, so how are the female guests and the viewers all shipping them so hard?

But maybe it's just his imagination. Is the second male guest... flirting with him?

*

The second male guest looks refined and reserved, impeccably dressed. He seems gentle and courteous, but is actually difficult to approach. And yet he shows Jiang Chenglan a tenderness reserved for him alone.

On the first day he arrives at the dating show, he opens the door and sees the summer sunshine from three years ago.

The man raises a hand to tug at his shirt collar, hiding his bobbing Adam's apple and the predatory look beneath his gentle expression.

He is reborn from despair in the depths of adversity. He struggles forward through the darkness, step by step, until he stands before his sun.

Then he draws that little sun, temporarily hidden by clouds, into his arms.

At the awards ceremony for the global finals, Jiang Chenglan jumps off the podium in front of countless domestic and international livestream and broadcast cameras. He grabs Lin Huai by the collar and kisses the astonished man.

"Will you marry me, Teacher Lin?"

"The kind that's livestreamed around the world."

Comments when the show first starts:

[Hahahaha, the production team really outdid themselves!]

Comments later in the show:

[Director!! You've got the nerve to make a dating show, but not to show us what's behind that black screen? It's not even airing on satellite TV anymore. What is there that we VIPs can't see?!]

[The pain of desperately looking for fanfiction about this dating-show couple in all kinds of unrelated fandoms (clutches chest)]

How to enjoy this story

★ Esports god jungler bottom x refined, gentle voice-acting veteran top. They flirt with each other on a dating show and are each other's only male guest.

★ Both are virgins, no playing the field, no multi-directional love-triangle drama. They choose each other. A sweet 1v1 romance, not a typical redemption story. The variety-show segments serve the romance.

★ The leads aren't based on real people.
