Everyone in the Immortal Cultivation World Is My Creditor

My name is Song Yu'an. I'm an utterly ordinary corporate drone who missed a step and plunged to my death in a sewer. The good news is that I didn't die and ended up in the cultivation world. The bad news is that I was saddled with an enormous debt.

By the time I figured out how much I owed, my eyes rolled back and I passed out on the spot.

Ten million high-grade spirit stones. I owe way too much!

Song Yu'an was ashen-faced and utterly hopeless. Why did she still have to spend her life paying off debt after transmigrating?

She might as well have died.

She thought, Whoever wants to pay off this enormous debt can do it themselves. I have no money. I might as well become a rogue cultivator. It's all the same if I lose my life, so they can take it if they want!

Before she could get too carried away, a black blade plunged into the ground right in front of her. The person who'd come after her snarled, "Pay up!"

Song Yu'an promptly clung to their leg and wailed, "Spare me, hero! I'll definitely pay you back. Just give me a few more days!"

Bonus scene:

Song Yu'an was being chased by her creditor for payment. With nothing left to her but this person, she fled in panic into a bustling temple in the human world.

Before she could celebrate, her creditor had already caught up.

Song Yu'an: ...

Without hesitation, she stepped inside the temple, walked past the Hall of Matchmaking without a glance, and headed straight for the Hall of Wealth.

Then she promptly knelt down, praying with all her heart.

The creditor followed close behind: ?

Song Yu'an: "If I pray, maybe I'll be able to pay you back."

The creditor gave a cold laugh. "Why go to all that trouble? Just give me..."

Song Yu'an's eyes lit up. "I know, I know! Give myself to you, and we'll call it even. From now on, what's yours is mine."

"In your dreams!" The creditor paused, then snarled, "Pay up!"

Song Yu'an: Life is hard.
