After I Died, My Demon King Boyfriend Went Mad

I am a good ruler.

That is what I have always believed.

I shattered the old empire, brought peace back to a universe torn apart by war, rebuilt the ideal world I envisioned, and did everything I could to protect the people.

I did many things.

But in the eyes of others, I was a tyrant.

After I died, no one mourned me.

Now, resurrected from the dead, I have turned off the StarNet and watch coldly as they cheer the death of the tyrant queen. I pull up my hood and disappear into the crowd.

Then, three days later...

A race that appeared out of nowhere declared war on the empire.

My eyes widened.

Because the person leading them was my boyfriend.

After my death, he had gone completely mad.

When the demons first appeared,

no one paid them any mind.

That was until they breached the empire's defenses at an unimaginable speed and cut off the head of the frontier lord. This race was immensely powerful. Every one of them could tear open a starship with their bare hands, and they were fanatically devoted to their Demon King.

What no one knew was that this declaration of war should have come many years ago. It was only thanks to the agreement between the former queen and the Demon King that peace had lasted until now.

Even fewer people knew that they were lovers.

And when the Demon King, full of anticipation, came once more to welcome his beloved, all he found was their coffin, their remains already reduced to ashes, and endless curses hurled at her...

He went mad.
