[Blurb]
1.
Phoenix is an immortal bird born among ruins.
He has endless life and is the only living creature in the wilderness, but this has brought him boundless suffering.
Loneliness, confusion, a lack of faith, and countless attempts to die, all in vain.
"Eternal life is a form of torture," Feini thought.
2.
His suffering was briefly brought to an end one spring day. In the middle of the ruins, the giant serpent egg cracked, and a boy emerged.
Feini was no longer alone among the ruins.
Feini stepped forward and embraced him, kissed his cheek, and touched the scales still covering his body.
"You are my beloved, my treasure," Feini said.
3.
The boy was named Wuluoboluosi, an Ouroboros, a serpent biting its own tail and symbolizing an endless cycle. His life lasted only one year, through all four seasons. He would die as winter approached and be reborn when spring blossomed.
After every cycle, he would forget everything that had come before, including Feini, who had loved him through all four seasons.
"I will always love you, but I'm afraid I'll forget."
*
It's all right.
While you sleep through winter, I'll cover the ruins with flowers so you can wake up surrounded by softness.
I'll light up the sun, moon, and stars, so the first thing you see when you look up is a brilliant light.
You are part of my life, one link in my eternity.
I'll watch the world slowly grow as I wait for you to return next spring.
#An obsessive, possessive shou x a silent gong with intermittent amnesia#
[Other Details]
1. Feini is the shou and Wuluo is the gong. An ancient love story about gods and fantasy in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
2. Feini has spent a long time alone, so his personality is quite strange and obsessive. Wuluo dies once a year, and every time he is reborn, his memories are completely erased.
3. Feini is extremely possessive and expresses his love quite directly, but their feelings for each other are incredibly strong!
4. Feini is a phoenix and Wuluo is a snake. Both will have animal traits described. Readers afraid of hooked-beak birds (?) or snakes should proceed with caution!
5. One-on-one romance. Everything they need to remember will come back to them. A standard happy ending.
Theme: None for now.
