My Pilot Boyfriend [Republican Era]

In 1945, the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan was celebrated across the country. Wen Qi, a pilot tempered by war, met Su Ke, who had returned from the United States.

September 16, 1946.

After the war, Su Ke, who had served as a Red Cross nurse on the European front, wanted to return to her homeland and spend some time there.

Many of Wen Qi's comrades had died on the battlefield. With peace suddenly upon him, he didn't know what to do with himself.

The two fell in love and came to understand each other in the year before the civil war broke out. But once it did, what path could Wen Qi, an air force pilot, possibly take?

The experiences of every woman in the air force dependents' village seemed to warn her not to step into this bottomless abyss.

What they didn't know was that in her lifetime, she had once fallen in love with a German pilot, later become engaged to the son of an American air force commander, and finally decided to elope with a Chinese pilot.

Wen Qi lived a freewheeling life. Even while training in the United States, he was always out having fun. After returning to China, he often dated college girls and had never been caught out. After all, during wartime, you had to make the most of every day you were alive: be happy and live without restraint.

Until he met Su Ke. He hated war and the rootless life of never knowing what tomorrow would bring. He wanted to give her a stable life.

[Some of the setting is based on A Touch of Green.]

Ahhh, the male and female leads in my story have to stay together forever!

Happy ending
