As a commoner admitted to an elite school for gifted students, Wen Chu seemed completely out of place, like a drab little mouse.
Everyone thought she would soon turn into an inconspicuous speck of dust or a toy they could easily control.
But against all expectations, the aloof young woman, prophesied to be a savior and blessed with noble blood, overturned all that condescending arrogance and scorn with her remarkable abilities in just one month.
A genius savior with a bright future.
That was how they saw Wen Chu.
Wen Chu knew better than anyone that she could never be the savior of this world.
She hated this world, which had been born from a badly concluded shonen manga she'd read, more than anyone. And she was nothing but an impostor.
This world was dangerous, with a rigid class system. And Wen Chu, an unlucky transmigrator, was merely a nameless background character who had never appeared in the manga, from a fringe district destroyed during an outbreak of anomalies.
She was someone who should have died according to the plot, but hadn't. She was an existence that didn't belong in this world.
Wen Chu knew she wasn't a good person. She was an infamous information broker, she kept her former friend, now a monster, as a pet, and she genuinely hated this world, along with its high-and-mighty, haloed male lead and his mission to save it.
So when the commission appeared before her, she accepted it and took the male lead's place as the savior, setting the story in motion.

The day her identity was about to be exposed, Wen Chu didn't hesitate for a second before packing up and running.
But when she reached her well-hidden little home, someone was already standing at the door.
The real overpowered male lead of the manga, the person she had impersonated, narrowed his eyes and smiled at her politely. His spotless leather boots stood in the filthy water of the slums, and his uniform was so neat it didn't have a single wrinkle.
Gentle, elegant, and high above it all.
Wen Chu took a step back, her spine pressing against the door. Her friend's tentacle slipped through the crack, quietly wrapping around her calf with the icy touch of a corpse.
The real savior was waiting for her answer. Her classmates, who hated her so much they ground their teeth, were on their way.
She had prepared herself for any consequence: being hated, being judged, or being trampled into the mud once again.
But their reactions were nothing like she had expected.

Why did you deceive us?
Why did you leave us?
Why don't you love us?
The arrogant young men who had always looked down on her lowered their heads and asked.
Warnings:
1. The heroine is a gloomy, amoral, mouse-like people magnet and savior. She has the identity of a savior, but little moral sense, and is not the righteous, upright type.
2. Contains plenty of potentially disturbing, twisted, unhealthy emotions. Some relationship storylines are quite dark and toxic.
3. Includes a girl disguising herself as a boy and a secret identity being exposed.
4. My take on the people-magnet trope. Alongside romance, there will also be same-sex friendships.
5. The heroine is slow to react, emotionally blank, cold, gloomy, and does whatever she pleases, with little moral sense.
