Dungeon Rescue Master [Infinite]

[I'm sorry to everyone who followed this story or is still waiting for an update. This book has been officially discontinued. [The reasons are personal. In short, first, I wasn't happy with how the writing was going. Second, the original outline and various plot elements were too similar to my old work, Fixing the Plumbing. The events in the first instance, for example, were basically a repeat of the first instance in Fixing the Plumbing. I felt that repeating myself would inevitably be dull, and writing it was a struggle. At the same time, given my limited abilities, I couldn't think of a new approach that satisfied me without changing the outline, so I've decided to stop updating. I bow to you all once again.] [In the time I took off to rest, I also revised the outline. The result was a new outline, which became the story next door, Ghost Story Demolition Office. Xu Ming is still the protagonist. I guess you could call it a second career for the instance actors? Anyway, I wanted to give Xu Ming and the others a complete life. ORZ It's mainly about rules, so if you're interested, please check it out. Otherwise, perhaps we'll meet again someday.] [Finally, I bow to you all once more. I'm truly sorry about this book.] Blurb: Xu Ming is a player in the mysterious game Infinite Horror. He ranks near the bottom of the player leaderboard and is a notorious burden on his teammates in the player forum. After repeatedly getting himself killed in instances, he became legendary as the ultimate deadweight. At his peak, several forum threads were devoted to him overnight, and the hate posts about him remained at the top of the forum for ages. Until someone discovered Xu Ming's other identity. The instance rescue master. * The human players who checked in every day on Xu Ming's hate threads had no idea that, just like the player forum, the forum homepage for the instance's internal staff was also always full of posts about Xu Ming. One post was even manually pinned at the top. Click on it and you'd see a giant photo of Xu Ming surrounded by flowers of every color. Instance staff were always enthusiastically checking in below: [Thanks to Master Xu Ming, the instance's finances finally aren't in the red this month! I'm so moved, my eyeballs fell out.] [Players' crazy exploits were driving me nuts. I finally fixed the problem by following Master Xu's advice on improving the rules. Thank you so much!] [We couldn't figure out the instance's style before, and our performance was awful. We tried the Chinese-style cosmic horror Master Xu Ming recommended, and our KPIs finally came back to life! Heart, love you!] [Teacher is wonderful as part of the atmosphere team. His acting is superb, and he's great at playing a vengeful ghost. Even I got scared. Hope we can work together again.] [A grateful heart, thank you, Xu Ming! Wishing the master a long life!] Xu Ming, who occasionally came across the posts: ... You bunch of ghosts, what are you blabbing about under my memorial photo?? *Not a traditional infinite-flow story. Told mainly from the behind-the-scenes perspective of an infinite-flow game, with some everyday work life. Still a humorous horror story. *See the author's note in Chapter One for the reading guide.
