I'm a Martial Arts Director in the Interstellar Era

An Xia, a former action star whose career was gradually ending due to an injury, unexpectedly transmigrates to a distant interstellar era and becomes a member of a wandering film and theater troupe. The troupe is on the verge of disbanding, and An Xia's share of the money is barely enough for lunch. The director believes the modern world has left his tastes behind. After handing out the money, he tearfully packs up, ready to go home and farm with a mech. An Xia, who hasn't even figured out what's going on and is already facing a second unemployment: ... Fortunately, the troupe's filming equipment is still there. To keep from starving, An Xia decides to return to her old line of work. She claps her hands and decides on the spot to film a martial arts drama first. ...And somehow, she makes another hit. * When they hear that a film troupe is making a martial arts drama, the people of the interstellar era are actually against it. It's all hype. What's the point of watching real people fight? It's crude and shallow, with no sense of beauty. How could it be more exciting than combat at military academies or mech battles? An Xia doesn't say a word. She just keeps making martial arts dramas, each one challenging the simple-minded people of the interstellar era in new ways. You don't think it's exciting? Let me show you what it means to land every punch, strike with the force of a tiger, move like flowing water, and fight at lightning speed. You think it's not beautiful? Let me show you how to run along rooftops and walls, pluck leaves and send blossoms flying, stride across a thousand peaks, and cross a river on a single reed. You think it has no depth? Gather the moon's waxing and waning in your palms, and the meaning of fallen blossoms on the tip of your sword. Use martial arts to end conflict and cultivate virtue. Observe the natural world, and cultivate integrity within. And so, later on... Every weapon featured in her dramas becomes a bestseller as soon as it appears, and is constantly sold out. Every dazzling move becomes an instant hit, inspiring influencers of all kinds to break it down and imitate it. Students at the Imperial Military Academy secretly practice "Bagua Palm" and "Iron Wire Fist" between classes. Every day, people argue online about whether internal energy and lightness skills actually exist. The troupe's performances are packed, and offers of collaboration pour in. The name "Martial Arts Director An Xia" resounds throughout the stars. At last, amid the vast galaxy, she brings to life a thrilling martial arts dream that transcends time and space. * A martial arts director, also known as a fight choreographer or action director, is the soul and foundation of action scenes. The heroine will be involved both in front of and behind the camera, but her main role will be action direction. * The fight scenes will probably be inspired by classic wuxia and action films. I'll list the references in the author's notes. * The story will definitely include martial arts that exist in real life, and may include fictional martial arts from wuxia novels. I'll list the references in the author's notes. [Archived screenshot saved on 2022/03/09] Theme: Promote traditional Chinese martial arts culture and pass on the spirit of martial arts.
